I gave five stars because the medical staff and Dr Trenkle are super awesome!
HOWEVER!!!!!! The office part of Los Angeles ear nose throat are HORRIBLE!!!
The clinic has this weird rule that their bathroom is for STAFF ONLY! Like really!?!?! Is this how you treat your patients!?!?!
I have a medical issue as the result of a surgical injury that causes me to have urgency, when it’s time to go to the bathroom ( I know TMI)
When the key for the patient bathroom, out in the hall; is not available, the staff refuses to allow their “PAYING” patients to use the restroom in the back where the patients are seen. What I would like to know is, when did we get to this point, in humanity ? IT IS A DOCTORS OFFICE!!!!!! Allow your patients to use the bathroom!!! And the office girls are so dismissive, RUDE!!!!!!!! They lack empathy and compassion. I should not have to give a historical discourse about why I need to use their bathroom! I had this same situation happen to me at the downtown clinic and the East L.A clinic. If you have family with any ongoing health problems, like urinary or bowel issues, find an ENT with compassionate staff that will let you use their restrooms, Cause this place ain’t it!!!
I do not care for the girls who work the front office. And I cannot wait to finish my last post op treatment so that I never have to go to this office again I have several family members with nasal problem, who need to see an ENT But BEST believe I will NOT recommend this clinic to my family members or anyone else. Period To the front office staff and to whoever is in charge of making such a silly and inhumane bathroom rule for the patients, All I have to say is DO BETTER!! And do BETTER by your patients. We don’t have to come to L. A ENT we chose to come here to be treated. Show some...
Read moreI had nasal, sinus and ear surgicial procedures under Dr. Maki one week ago. The surgery went well as did the immediate post revovery. This past week was very exhausting and painful. I was instructed to use tynenol for pain but found it did not ease the pain. I had pain medication at home and began to use it twice a day for the next week. The after care procedure information provided was to take it easy and no lifting above 10 pounds. I felt so miserable but thought I must be having more issues as the post operative instructions were so matters-of-factly, that I thought I must be a poor example of a recovering patient.Thankfully I did have pain medication and it worked well so I just endured recovery as best as I could. I used the antibiotics and nasal spray as directed and cleaned the outside nasal area with neosporim and chapstick often. Sleeping was the hardest to do, so I would sit up to sleep and rest as best that I could. I went in for the 7 day post operative appointment. I did not meet with Dr. Maki but with his assistant. She was very kind and thorough as she removed the splints. I asked a lot of questions which she aswered in detail and gave me more information about what surgerical procedures were taken and why I had certain pain and discomfort as well as what will take place as I heal in the next 4 to 6 weeks. I feel the procedure was a success so far, and the staff was very professional. I am a patient that probably requires more information on what is happening with any surgery as well as to what can be expected in the healing process. Each day I feel a bit better.I want to thank everyone from the medical, office, surgical center, nursing staff and doctors involved in my procedure for answering my questions regarding my surgery and...
Read moreToday ,Dec.10,2015, for the first time, i got appointment to see DOCTOR GEOFFREY TRENKLE DO at 9.00 am in their, Glendale center. I am sorry but i have to say i am very disappointed for the folloing reasons: 1-- When i called for appointment, nobody told me that they have moved from Wilson Ter to E. Chevy Chase office. Online mostly show the old address. A lot of difficulty to find the place and park, then had to change again to go to new address. 2-- The reason i got appointment was to see Doctor Trenkle, unfortunately an associate doctor visited me and NOT doctor Trenkle, if they had respected me and had told me in advance, it was okey and i could decide, but in that way, i feel i was cheated and insulted. 3-- When i went to their office, although like 5 ladies were there but for a period of time NOBODY even say why i am there !!!!????...they were talking ,laughing, and joking with each other. Very unprofessional. I hope they change their attitude and have more respect for the patient, who went all the long way to see Doctor Trenkle and not...
