My first time going there was a big event with mariachi singers and authentic dancers the food was amazing and they sold nice stuff I usually go there and there is this tiny restaurant that sells good food and tacos the bakery from across the street is good but the service there is terrible rude cashier but next to it is a library/bookstore that opens a 2 days a week when you enter the plaza you feel like you just...

The place is nice and shops around it are good too. The only bad thing is that there are a lot of scaters and other people smoking marihuana and drinking alcohol. Is sad that they dont do anything to prevent this. This bunch of people can not gather to do this in this such nice place my kids like to go place there, ride a scooter or bike or we just walk around looking for the corn man. Council Huizar do...

If you checking out Boyle Heights then this is a must see spot to be added to your list of visits. It's just the atmosphere that brings your East Side Of Los Angeles Full Circle. You will definitely enjoy the small Mom and Pop shops located in the vicinity and while you're strolling the Mariachi Plaza You may even be lucky enough to experience the music from the live shows or previews the musicos...

Our final destination will be at Mariachi Plaza where we will indulge on the final taco of the day plus we’ll be handing out goodie bags and some dessert 😋. It’s all going down next Saturday! Winners will be announced Monday at 10 A.M. Link in bio to enter. #lataco #losangeles #gometro #tacocrawl #publictransportation #tacoguide

Dia de Los Muertos is a family favorite. The brilliant colors, fushia bouganvillas, marigolds so bright and orange. This particular event added a special twist. There was a theme of gangster era cars and pin-up girls. Snappy Mariachi music and Marzipan funnel cake. Creme so fresh and thick with crumbled Marzipan. Oh heaven!

Great place to find mariachis for any occasion. Every sunday they have an open market, lost of cool Mexican items for sale. They also have a live DJ! Every so often they have special events such as the taco fest! A great spot to spend a Sunday afternoon with the family..nice historic place.
