Francis Cactus Succulents — Attraction in Los Angeles

I am so happy I came here instead of my local Home Depot store! I was in the mood to redecorate my backyard and wanted to add a succulent to an outdoor table.

Please note: Be patient with Francis! Her English is limited. Be resourceful. Pull up Google Translate on your phone to help yourself. I'm Spanish-speaking so it was easy for me, but I can imagine some of y'all Yelp folks getting irritated.

Anyway, one thing I did notice was that this place is outdoors! Like a nursery you'd go to. The aisles are narrow, so just be mindful of your body and don't knock down any plants. Lol.

Francis greeted me with a warm smile and demeanor. She was so sweet!! I almost wanted to give her a hug lol. I explained to her that I had a budget and wanted succulents. She quickly got to work on it. She asked me to pick from several plants but didn't overwhelm me. I think she ended up having fun working on it! I saw her burst into this creative mode, and it was beautiful to witness! An artist at work, and in her zone!

Came here on my last day in LA as a tourist for some cute souvenirs! Makes me wish I lived out here! Wonderful selection of cacti, succulents, and some other house plants in a tiny outdoor lot (unfortunately this also means not wheelchair accessible). Some are in adorable hand painted pots, and gorgeous unique arrangements but none of them come with a pretentious price tag. Seriously: there were some gorgeous larger succulent arrangements and specimens I wouldn’t be able to find back home that I wanted to buy and that I had the money to get that were just too large to be practical to take back on a plane with me!

Pros: I called around like 10 places and Francis is the only one who has String of Hearts Succulent. She's also great with sending pictures back and forth to me so I can make sure she has the plants before I go. Highly recommend.

Cons: cash only I can't find anywhere where this is stated? I guess I should have checked before going but that is pretty inconvenient, and I wasted an hour driving back and forth to this place so I'm pretty annoyed. To make matters worse, no ATM, they really should get a square reader. It's also a TINY little shop. And parking is...
