Ramen Izakaya NoHo — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This place is a hidden gem - my wife and I were starving so I found this spot not to far away from an appointment we had, and we were blown away by the service, and the deliciousness of the food! The ramen was, no kidding, the best ramen I've ever had. Now I'll be the first to tell you that I've not had 100's of ramen before, but I do enjoy some ramen every once and a while. This ramen has given me a new craving that I will be coming back for to this spot and I'll also be bringing friends and family here as well. My wife loved her dish, and we both left full, happy and with smiles on our faces. The staff is so friendly, brought us our food timely, were so professional, were genuinely kind people and I wish other restaurants would copy their model of hospitality.

I'll add that the night after we dined here we went to the NY Times "Best restaurant in LA", a Thai spot that I won't mention the name of, and it was NOTHING in comparison to this place. If you're sitting in your car, starving, just go here, you'll be...

Absolutely worth the drive from my hometown to get this delicious ramen with a hearty broth.

My advice is to ask for the spicy miso or the OG and get a little spicy sauce and you have the clearest sinuses ever.

If you aren't a spice person I promise you can handle it

Just have some delicious green tea🍵 or water and you'll make it. If you need a bit more, don't worry the customer service is immaculate.

I had spring rolls as an appetizer and I don't think I've had hotter and fresher spring rolls ever! I know it's a little thing , I was just surprised fresh vegetables can actually add a significant amount of texture to a spring roll. 🥹

I don't think I could stop going off about this comfortable vibe from this hole in the wall.

I hardly post any reviews unless service is horrible. But for this place that is so deserving of praise, I am pleased to do so. Owner, Nori, down to the kitchen staff are all wonderful folks-first thing I noted before I even tried their food. How often do you get a smile from the back of the room in any other place? Food is delicious, ramen is yummy! Service is quick and excellent and the place, including restrooms, is immaculate ! You can tell Nori is very meticulous and pays attention to details. I noticed how he packed a couple of soda CANS for an order to go. He didn’t just put them in a bag; he put them in one of those drink holders. I mean who does that?!
