Barnrau Thai Halal Cuisine — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I have been to this restaurant a few times, mainly because it's the only halal restaurant near me. Every time I've been there this place has been dirty, I've refused to dine there because of the condition of the place however I have picked up orders from here. The owner has no personality, he's naturally rude and has no customer service values whatsoever. The last straw was when I picked up 2 beef salads, one for me and one for my Aunt Khadijah, I also purchased the Tum Kai Kai soup for my son. Within 3 hours of eating the food, we ALL became violently ill with diarrhea, vomiting and flu like symptoms. This lasted for the next 2 days. I contacted the owner and he was unapologetic, insensitive and took zero responsibility. His response was "Uh huh, ok, uh hun, ok" to everything I said.

There’s no way I will eat food from a place where customer service would not even recommend something that they specialize in specifically. If you’re awesome at every dish and every plate on the menu, that’s terrific, but this is not JITLADA in Hollywood. That has the best food in Southern California. Everyone make sure you go there and try that food. You will never eat at this place ever again.. the customer service is horrible. We ordered the appetizer buffalo wings, mixed vegetables with chicken, chicken fried rice and orange chicken. The order came up to $65 which was quite steep for an appetizer a side and two entrees. However the food was very good. The orange chicken looks nothing like the picture on their menu but it did NOT disappoint! We definitely enjoyed the food but they don't allow dine in anymore but you can reserve a seat online, they don't take credit card, but only Venmo etc. and they do not have actual menus, they make you use their online menu to order at their tiny front door. I love being digital and touchless, but it would be nice to have a choice.
