Walking into Victorio’s Restaurante for the first time in my teens for a friends graduation party was like entering a greek and Italian world full of lovely paintings of people dancing ecstatically to gods and goddesses playing the harp and lyre. It was a charming and cozy space and ten years later when me and my husband were looking for venues for our wedding, it was one of the first places that came to mind.
I remember walking back inside almost a decade later feeling that same familiarity. When we met the owner, Robert, he was was so amiable to us that he took the time to sit with us to discuss our wedding plans. His daughter even made delightful cappuccinos on the house for us. By the end of the talk, Robert offered us a really good price for the food and setting up the tables for 100 people (including food, appetizers) and drinks. We are grateful it was a great meeting and we booked Victorios!
The day of the wedding was so magical. When we walked in, all the arrangements of the tables, chairs wrapped in white silk cloth, and flowers looked wonderful. We are thankful to the restaurant staff and our lovely florist who made it all come together so beautifully. We could tell that the restaurant staff looked at the timing of the schedule and served the food when needed. They did a wonderful job in assisting with what guests were requesting. Special thanks to Jonathon who took care of me and Arcadio by having our dinner served too and checking in on us to see how were doing. The aroma of the food itself was alluring and my husband and I especially loved the flavors of the Greek and Caesar salad. They had just the right amount of dressing and the flavor of the added vegetables like the cucumbers and bell peppers gave it a zesty and fresh flavor.
Whether you are planning a date night or a special event, Victorio’s Restaurante is a friendly, pleasant, and delicious place to dine on delicious...
Read moreSo first things first, me and my girlfriend walk in and found that the atmosphere was welcoming... aside from the usual mobsters eating pizza in the corner its great and is pleasing to the eye. We then proceed to our booth where we were greeted by our server who asks us if we'd like water, giving us our menu we then begin our grand adventure which seemed to last a lifetime and a half. Menu was extensive which my girlfriend and I thought was great, but for some reason they had no carbonara. Sooo our server comes back and I politely ask if the chef could make it. She scurries back to the kitchen, comes back and tells me yes. My girlfriend asks for spinach lasagna. Simple items, yes? No... The server then brings me a mixed vegetable pasta with what seemed to be scrambled eggs... and the lasagna. First bite... Hmm no flavor... douse the pasta in chili flakes and parmesian cheese. Second bite.... no flavor... yet again. I then ask the server if she could bring me a side of alfredo sauce. Sauce arrives and to my dismay I lay my eyes on a gravy looking concoction that I regretfully pour all over my pasta. My girlfriend is now looking at me like I'm on an episode of "Fear Factor". Third bite... absolutely NO flavor. And now I'm so starved I begin to eat the garlic bread which was at least edible, to a certain extent. My girlfriend also was displeased with her meal and didn't finish it. The server comes back asks if we liked the food, and if we'd like to take the leftovers... "HECK NO", is what I wanted to say but gratefully say no to the leftovers and that the food was ok.... Sadly I will not be returning to Victorios, and do NOT recommend if you're out with a loved one looking for a nice restaurant... Thanks! P.S. Be careful of...
Read moreI don't even know where to start. I ordered my food before they were even opened, Evelina answered the phone and I asked her to please help me out on the menu because it was my first time ordering from Victorio's. She went over the extra mile helping me out, and I ordered the Victorio's Special Pizza, The steak sandwich, homemade Tiramisu.
Since today was over 105(F) here in North Hollywood I wanted to ordered two drinks and kindly I asked for Ice (no charge). Within less than one hour John, our delivery driver was knocking on my door. He was extra kind, professional the way he handled my ordered, he had a cold bag for my drinks, dessert and ice, and a super hot bag for my pizza and steak sandwich. He went to his car to get me a menu, and coupon. When I open my ordered, I couldn't ask for more. Pizza was amazingly delicious, crispy, and what I love the most, it wasn't loaded in sauce. The steak sandwich omg! the meat so tender and cooked to perfection.. I will definitely ordered again.
Thank you very much for making my first experience a unique one. My boys and I really enjoyed our dinner time, specially on such hot weather. We need people like the one you have on your phone, kitchen, on your delivery service, people who love their job express it on the way they treat their customers. Thank you again. I finished my weekend very happy, blessed, and...
