Gladstones PCH Beach — Attraction in Los Angeles

The staff here is very nice and overly accommodating. The view is spectacular. We got 2 loads of bread, the first was great, the second smelled and tasted like play-doh. The clam chowder was out of this world, by far the best. The amount of clam you got was insane. I ordered the lobster mac and cheese. I was disappointed in the morsels of lobster, very deflating. They have a nice drink and wine menu. Would come back if nothing else for the clam chowder...

It's not clear what happened to this place! I have been going to this restaurant for more than 30 years. It used to be a higher end restaurant! The food is not as good as it used to be. The building is quite rundown and sad looking. There is trash everywhere on the beach in front of the restaurant and the service was like Denny's. I gave it 3 stars because of the location and it's beautiful view. I hope they will do something...

Always come to this restaurant 😋 but today being my bday I was disappointed, I ordered my usual plate the surf and turf and before they would give you the whole 🦞 lobster. Now they only give you the lobster tail. Our waiter said they just changed that a while ago. Guess we ain't coming here for lobster...
