Palisades Compounding Pharmacy — Local services in Los Angeles

I went to this pharmacy for convenience. I was charged $422 for my prescription. I thought this a bit expensive but went ahead with the purchase. Upon thinking it over,.. I called CVS pharmacy, and they said that with a Good RX membership (takes 30 seconds to obtain on online), the same prescription would cost $123 at CVS. Wow. Palisades Compounding Pharmacy = SHAME ON YOU! When I called Palisades Compounding,.. they were of no help whatsoever,.. they would not allow me to bring back my unopened bottle,.. which I had picked up less than 1 hour earlier, and made absolutely NO attempt to correct this outrageous...

You can't beat the location.

Hours aren't going to compete with Phramica and especially CVS. God, I hate CVS in the Palisades - especially the pharmacy.

Price-wise, I needed a tricky script and they beat the price from Pharmica by over $500 (6x per year thus it adds up)

The staff are AMAZINGLY friendly. Their stock is good stuff in the store like Pharmica.

They could upgrade to 5-stars if they had a local delivery option like Pharmica does with FedEx Ground (local). I've urged them to do this as I would switch over ALL of our prescriptions.

Picked up my second refill here and it was labeled refrigerate. The first time it didn’t have that label. I called and pharmacist says it can go either way. I’ve since taken to another pharmacy and they informed me it always needs to be refrigerated.

On top of that the first time I was told it would be a higher price if I needed it today as they would need a few days to run insurance. On the refill they ran it supposedly and I got same price. The new pharmacy I took it too is half their price.
