It’s worth noting that I’m not entirely sure this is actually a dog park. I found it on a bunch of dog friendly websites, but there wasn’t any designated area for dogs. It is a wide open space below the freeway, full of grass and shaded by trees. When I was there, we had the whole park to ourselves, but it was below 70 degrees so it could just be because CA folks think that’s cold. Aesthetically, it’s pretty with all of the trees and fall leaves...if you can forget that you’re smooshed between the freeway and the backs of apartment buildings. Warning: the entire floor is riddled with holes. Both my dog and I twisted our ankles! Use caution! Parking: it seems as though there is only street parking available and then you walk to the park. The entrance is at a four way stop that is literally a freeway exit. Parallel parking only!

We came here specifically for the agility course type obstacles I had heard were at this park... I was pleasantly surprised and very excited there were three main obstacles set up: 1. A tube to jump up and run through, 2. A long platform ramp to run up and over and down, and 3. A rope jump obstacle (which was adjustable for height). There was also a little platform, but I wasn't sure what that's for? The obstacles are in the big dog area, so be aware if you have a small dog and want to try these out. Pretty decent park, overall... No grass, so it was pretty dusty. Didn't see any poop bag dispensers, I think there were just shovels? A separate gated area for small dogs and big dogs. Neither areas were exceptionally big, but fine for my 20lb dog. A nice little shaded tree area in the big dog section with benches to sit.

Came on Tuesday about 1pm, only one other dog here. We were able to let our dog roam around as she is a bit skiddish. The big tree in the middle provides shade with a few benches. Some people didn't pick up after their dogs and some graffiti. A couple of water bowls with water fountain. There's a sign warning of coyotes. Few homeless people are behind one of the fences. In the back of the park so might be missed if you are not looking for it. Decent dog park but could see it dropping if not maintained.
