Pros: Shady, easy parking and easy trail, friendly people, lots to see - golf, soccer, skateboarders, horses, nature garden, rock maze, park gets much better as you go north. Cons: Horse poo, somewhat depressing stable with listless horses and workers, trash, homeless encampment under bridge, freeway noise, not nice part of L.A. river, a bit hard to find trail depending on where you park due to all the fencing and barriers - makes the park look tiny.

The cool thing about this part for me is that they have on the second Tuesday and the third Sunday a bunch of guys & Gals get together for a Hot wheel swap meet. It's a great place to buy sell and trade Hot Wheels on those days. Even if you're not into Hot Wheels I would check it out at least once.

Very empty park next to the freeway. Sorta quiet besides all the vehicle's passing by. A loud train across the street. The grass need's to be cut and maintained. This park has potential if someone would take care of it. Multiple trailer's parked on the street, i guess people live here.

My dude and I were chillin here vibbing out n having such a great tone... up until we awoke at 4:30am startled to hear unfamiliar male voices approaching us And equally startled to realize we had fell asleep and were still at the park. But all those startled surprises turned to one's of fear when one of the male voices pulled a gun on us after my dude asked them politely to keep on walking that we didn't know who they were looking for. When the young man pulled the gun out he pointed it at me n said "I'll kill your b-word" then they just walked off. It was scary n odd. we reported it to the police but they didn't rly do much or seem to...
