It seems like this park used to be in better shape when it was first renovated, but it's definitely not one I would let my kiddos go to on their own. There is so much trash on the playground, a lot of the slides and plastic parts of the playground are broken so it is unsafe or unable to be used and enjoyed by the kids, again, the trash was a huge thing for me because it's everywhere. It seems like not just the homeless people are leaving the trash, but a lof snacks and wrappers so visitors, kids, and families need to take responsibility too.. There are a lot of homeless individuals sleeping on benches and the grass, there were a lot of suspicious people, definitely people you don't want hanging around while your kids are there. Overall dirty, uncomfortable, and neglected. Please do better Los Angeles. It's the only park I can think of in the area so it is frequented by a lot of people, which is pretty heartbreaking if the only park in the neighborhood is in this condition. I used to go to this park as a kid, so it's still a cool park for me because of the memories I have from growing up in the area, but it needs to be maintained not just fixed every decade. Lots of stains on the concrete, I saw blood splatters (unsanitary and not a good look...
Read moreI had a great time here. There is homeless people that sit at the benches/tables here if you don’t mind. A lot of the time there are people smoking , so if you don’t want your child near that I wouldn’t recommend coming here. The restrooms aren’t the cleanest but they are open sometimes, if they’re not open the science center has restrooms. They have turtle and frog statues that I think are really cute. There are two different playgrounds, one for the older kids and one for the younger ones. Both playgrounds have a lot of trash and some of the...
Read moreThis park is located right next to one of the wealthiest colleges in the country. Still the people in the park are mostly homeless people. There were some kids playing but they too were from low income families. The park is certainly not for everyone to come like the Oan Pacific Park next to the Grove. Educated families will go to thr Natural History Museum next door but won't come to this park for...
