Really disappointed and a bit grossed out.
I would consider myself a regular due to circumstances of proximity but I find it harder and harder to support this cafe. While I stand behind their values, I don't think I can continue spending money on overpriced food and drinks that are not equal to their monetary value.
The empanadas are extremely small for their price. The overall flavor is okay but they are very dry. Something as simple as a bean and cheese burrito is priced at $7. The pastries are good but some are too dry and bland. For example, a $7 chocolate chip cookie tasted like straight up cookie dough in contrast to the $6 cookie from Bristol Farms are no way in the same lane. I usually get the ham and cheese croissant because it fills me up for a while but with my drink, my order (1 drink and 1 pastry) usually comes just about to $20. I most recently tried their Iced Refreshers (hibiscus flavor) and as someone who drinks Agua de Jamaica often, this made me gag.
