I had surgery under the care of Dr. Bastian. The office staff is wonderful as is Dr. Bastian. Now the billing staff is another matter. Continued calls to the bill office go to voice mail stating that due to staffing issues no one is available, but if I leave my number they will call me back. Well folks, this never happens. There are no call backs. I have attempted to settle my account numerous times and twice my checks have gone uncashed causing new bills to be generated with a continued balance. I have spoken to Martha who assured me she would address and handle this. She even provided me with her number as she is working from home. Well not to my surprise she does not return phone calls, her calls to her "direct" number go unanswered. So yes they provide excellent medical service, but this medical organization needs to step up their game so the medical service they provide matches their billing practices. I attempted to pay at Dr. Bastian's office and was unable do so as they have no systems and processes to accept payments at this office. Wow, most offices would welcome a payment, but...

I played roller derby and injured my knee pretty bad during scrimmage one night. I couldn't step on it and the pain was excruciating. Luckily, my friend who had recently had knee surgery with great results, was there to suggest her doctor, Dr. Pelton. I kept it in mind, but figured I go home to ice and elevate my knee, take Tylenol and hope for the best. The next day, there was no improvement, my knee was still pretty swollen and the pain was not really relieved. I'm thinking I tore something and really had to get this checked as soon as possible. I remembered what my friend suggested. I made an appointment and I headed in. The staff was very courteous, caring, and attentive and the space was beautiful! I know the way a place looks is not important to many but I have to acknowledge it. The wait was minimal and I got to see Dr. Pelton fairly soon. He was incredibly knowledgeable. He was also very friendly and funny which really put me at ease. Turns out, it was only a sprain. Thank goodness! This office is nothing more than a patient mill focuses on volume over treatment. Overbook every appointment so the office is overflowing and you wait hours for your turn. You get seen for about 2 minutes (usually by an assistant only) and asked to come back in a few months with no treatment.

Doctor and assistants constantly giving conflicting information, they don't look at your scans or results, don't know your name or chart WHILE they are seeing you.

Had multiple instances of shady behavior like refusing to submit treatment requests or forcing additional visits just to charge insurance. Once I came to an appointment to go over treatment/results and they asked me to come back another day because they hadn't received/looked at the imaging (gave them physical copy on the spot and still asked me to come back), next time I came back they lied and said they hadn't received the imaging and needed to reschedule again (when I could see the copy of the disc in my chart).
