CARRIE should be avoided at all costs. She tried to hustle me into paying $400 to dissolve my upper lip/lip using just 40 units of Hylenex when the whole bottle costs $200 and has 150 units in it. See more details below.
Clara messed up my smile line, Richard tried to dissuade me from dissolving for over 20 minutes and was ultimately wrong about there being filler in there - as confirmed by Carrie.
Carrie was a nightmare to deal with: argumentative, cut me off mid sentence, refused to answer basic questions - now i know its bc it would have revealed that she was overcharging me.
Mediocre technique and beyond awful customer “service” if you can even call if that. Manager Ray was great the first time we spoke saying I should come back as many times as I need to to fix the issue - then changed her tune on the second call. I urge you to STAY AWAY. By far the worst customer experience I’ve ever had.
Details: CLARA ruined my smile line by injecting too much and after 2 conservative dissolving sessions indirectly told me not to come back for more - despite the chunk of filler that was still in my face and creating new lines. RAY the manager apologized and told me to come back as many times as needed to fix the issue. I called to schedule my appointment with someone else and RAY had changed her tune, and stuck me with RICHARD who spent 20 minutes trying to discourage me from injecting the dissolver even though I insisted, saying it would age me, there’s no actual filler in there, it’s just me face, it wouldn’t work - guess what, it worked. Several weeks later I called back willing to pay for more dissolver and was quoted $200 for a bottle of Hylenex by the front desk. I arrived to my appointment with CARRIE which in one word would be described as a NIGHTMARE. She started out by saying that she had read my file and would see if there was even anything in there to dissolve. Guess what Richard - even after our dissolving session Carrie felt some in the problem area. CARRIE had obviously come into the appointment with conviction that it was okay to treat me poorly. She was aggressive, cut me off mid-sentence, and refused to honor the pricing at the front desk saying that it would now be $400 to dissolve 2 sections - 20 units each. When I inquired about how many ml’s were in a bottle she asked why I wanted to know and refused to share the information - does that sound like someone you’d trust to stick a needle in your face? Turns out a whole bottle has 150 units and costs $200 for the entire bottle. You dont expect to get hustled by your nurse. CARRIE was so argumentative that I had to walk out of the appointment, a first time for me.
NEVER have I dealt with such consistently awful customer service. I will not be returning and I caution you to stay away. Their prices are cheap but technique is mediocre and if you have a problem that needs to be fixed,...
Read moreI've had 5 laser hair removal touch-ups here & it was a waste of my time. I've done laser hair removal at another place for years with success, but I moved & decided to try LA Beauty Skin Center out first. I needed touch-ups to areas I had treated years before.
Unfortunately, there is just no consistency or care for clients with them. I got a different technician every visit, and none of them asked how treatment was going or if I needed any adjustments to the laser strength. If you don't make adjustments based on your personal hair growth, you will end up going for treatments forever & eventually the hair will all come back when you stop going. I know this because I have experienced it.
Also, the treatment was extremely spotty. Spotty hair-growth is perfectly normal as you go through the process & your different hair cycles are coming to surface, but I am now at the end of my touch-up treatments & I have very clear vertical lines of hair growth on my underarms.
The laser technicians also never recommended when I should come back for followups. After they do the laser you're just kinda standing in the room with them like, "Is that it?" & they send you on your way.
The technicians & front desk employees all seem to just have a "don't care" attitude & it shows in their services. Even today after giving my name to the front desk employee to check out, she wanted me to pay for treatments even though I still had sessions on my account that I bought previously. So be careful you know what you're paying for if you come here.
I'm giving 2 stars because it is very easy to get appointments with them, and at least my treatment areas were cheap. I wanted to love this place & was planning to get injections & further laser treatments here but after these lackluster treatments I'm...
Read moreWithout a doubt the worst injectable experience I’ve ever had. Not only was I not seen until 1 hour after my scheduled appointment time, but the PA whom my appointment was with was extremely rude and condescending. I made an appointment for Xeomin never having tried it and hearing that it was an alternative to Botox. Having had Botox many times, I was looking to try something new. Her first question to me was “why do you want Xeomin?” After replying that I was looking to try something different, she heavily advised me against Xeomin and said “if you don’t know why you want it then I’m just going to give you Botox since that’s what you’re used to.” Rather than explain the pros and cons of each to me, and knowing that I made the appointment for Xeomin, she insisted Botox was the better choice and proceeded to prep it without asking for my approval. She also TOLD me how many units she was going to inject rather than ASK how many I wanted. I had to ask her how many units she was injecting into my face as she was already injecting. The whole interaction felt rushed and extremely impersonal (probably due to the fact that all of her appointments were running an hour behind). I will not be coming back to LA Beauty Skin Center after...
