I was late to my appointment, due to a traffic accident that I had to navigate around. I called the office and spoke with George to let them know I was running late. He informed me that there is a 15min grace period, but he offered to contact them to let them know I would be later than that time period. He was very courteous and came back on the line to let me know it was ok to still come in. Upon arriving at the office, I checked in and let them know that I had called in. They said that they would be able to get me in right away. I had a short wait and then was called in. I was greeted with a smiling eyes, and escorted to a room and informed that the dr would be in shortly to do the injections and that there would also be someone coming in to get my authorization for the treatment. Gabby came in with a smile in her eyes as well, as everyone is still needing to wear masks. I authorized the treatment, and then asked to use the restroom prior to the treatment. Gabby took me to the nearest public restroom, but it was occupied. While waiting another dr came by and offered for me to use the employee restroom. I thanked him gratefully. Afterward using the facilities, I went back to my examination room and Gabby informed me that the dr would be right in. After a very short wait, he came in and talked with me briefly about the procedure. Although I had thought I would only be receiving the gel injection in my right knee, I asked the dr if I could receive it in both knees, due to the lack of cartilage in the left knee as well. He informed me that they had already authorized for both knees. He then proceeded to do the injections. It was slightly uncomfortable, but I knew that it would help me. He also let me know that I would be receiving physical therapy as well, in the near future. I asked him if there would be any problems with me walking and he said no, but he wouldn't recommend for me to do any sprinting. I informed him that, that wouldn't happen anytime soon. He asked if I had any other questions. I just asked for his 1st name. He said Mike. I thanked him and we both said have a great day and I was on my way. It was a very good visit....
Read moreWhen my mom dislocated and fractured her ankle in two places, we were overwhelmed and needed help fast. I called Los Angeles Orthopedic Surgery Specialists (LAOSS), and they were truly exceptional from start to finish.
They scheduled us an appointment the very next morning with Dr. Wang, who is not only extremely knowledgeable but also kind and empathetic. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made my mom feel cared for every step of the way.
Liliana at the front desk immediately verified insurance eligibility and was so professional and efficient. Eric, the medical assistant, was very helpful, and Saul, the surgery coordinator, provided detailed & rapid responses, along with his director, Elva, worked quickly to schedule her surgery within just four days.
After a smooth and successful surgery conducted by Dr. Wang, he made himself available over the weekend to check in and ensure my mom’s pain was managed comfortably. That level of dedication and responsiveness made such a difference in her recovery.
I highly recommend LAOSS to anyone needing orthopedic care. They combined expertise, compassion, and outstanding service when we needed it most. Thank you to the entire team at LAOSS for taking such excellent...
Read moreThe staff are really nice and helpful to get you in ASAP if it’s urgent. I’ve had to see two of the Drs now because I needed a second opinion shoulder for surgery and fortunately moved to this area. Unfortunately while I have been doing home PT, because my Dr. agrees that it’s way too soon for arthroscopic surgery and it would make it worse after a while, then I just have to have it done again in five or so years, I was so lucky to fall and have my ring finger on my right hand “literally” break my fall when I blacked out while trying to flip my hair over to put a towel around it. I completely dislocated my 4th digit! So I contacted my shoulder surgeon to let him know I wasn’t able to bear weight for my shoulder exercises. They had me come in later that day! He scheduled me with the hand surgeon and after assessing my injury he gave me simple instructions for exercises, no weight bearing and wants to see me in two weeks. In the mean time I am going to see what I can do to modify my shoulder PT on the app to get some of it done.
I would definitely recommend these guys to friends...
