It was very beautiful and clean when it reopened. But the neighborhood transients and taggers got a hold of it and trashed it. Surely they can hire enough LA city employees to keep up the maintenance on it daily. It needs to be maintained by replacing the fencing that breaks down, removing debris and paint from tagging. They should also hire a security company with round the clock shifts to help with detering taggers and vandals. I personally know someone who hard to restore the lake and landscape but the vandals have no respect for other people's property and just flat out don't care even though they are welcome to enjoy the nature and beauty that it has to offer. Maybe the're should perimeter fencing and charge to access it then maybe people would be more respectful and it could cover the cost to keeping it...
