Menyoli Malafa, MD — Attraction in Los Angeles

After 6+ weeks of a very painful tendinitis in my wrist, I went to see Dr Malafa after getting a referral from a friend. I was so nervous, as I'm usually a "ignore the pain until it goes away" type of person lol, but as soon as I got into the office, I knew I made a good choice. The woman at the front desk was so helpful and thorough - my insurance app wasn't working so she helped me get my info another way, and even printed a copy of my insurance card for me. I got right in, and the nurses were kind and efficient. Dr. Malafa came in and quickly diagnosed my wrist, knowing exactly what symptoms and pain I was experiencing before I could even tell him! He's just one of those doctors who you know has seen it and treated it all. He made me feel so comfortable, and luckily my treatment could be done in one session, as it was a more mild wrist injury due to having a new baby. The staff v are very nice, attentive, and do try and help with all your needs while visiting thier offices. The Dr. was very fast, he didn't just have us sitting there waiting for nothing, for hours like some other places have done in the past. He also helped enlighten me of all my choices, making sure i understood everything along the way. Basically, i just felt really comfortable while I was there, and since going there a second time and now my third as well, Ive come to realize that just v because aim not made of dollar bills, and dont have the top 1% insurance to overbill me for money, doesnt mean I have to be treated like I don't matter. Wow, thats the beat way I can describe this Doctor! He fixed my mess of a fractured left wrist after a month of being injured and two months later did surgery on my right wrist that was fractured as well! He and his entire staff are #1 in my book and have took care of me since 1/27/22. I highly recommend Dr. Malafa and staff. He has the best down to earth bed side manner not stuffy and rude and not a prescription Doctor. When I found him I had googgled for the best hand surgeon in LA he was the closest to me and listed #3 in California. I set an appointment & met him and thats when he asked me if i was referred?
