I'm giving them 1 star because I have no other option or else I wouldn't give them any. I was recommended by another attorney who told me how "great" they were and after reading the reviews I felt comfortable enough to hire them. I work at a law firm myself and I know every case is different and I know you won't always get the results you want. Anyway, I payed them 2,500 just to "open up an investigation" to figure out what my options were in regards to my type of case. I payed them $2,000 up front and $500 the following month. It took a little over a month to receive news which is how long I thought it would take. Then my case worker set up an appointment between me and the attorney Nadja for a Saturday and when Saturday came around they canceled on me that morning because the attorney "wasn't going to be there". Then we were supposed to reschedule and they were supposed to give me a call back and never did so I gave them a call and they were supposed to talk to the attorney to confirm, and again I didn't receive a call. I called the following week and asked them if we could just do the meeting via phone or email because it was also hard for me to go in due to my work schedule and their schedule. Finally they agreed to have the attorney give me a call, which she failed to do so until I called and told them I had been waiting for the call. I finally get the call and spoke to her and she advised me of my options and in order to move forward it would be another $2,500! I requested she send me all the paper work she had from the "investigation which I payed $2,500 for. It took over a month of me calling and requesting the paper work for me to finally receive it. When I received it and went over the paper work, I noticed they had literally send me the document I had already taken in myself and on top of that a document for a ticket which was not even under my name! How did they not notice that ticket was not mine? Is that how much attention and effort they put into my case? Overall, I am very unhappy with their service and think they are unprofessional. I can understand my case might have been complicated and more than likely I wasn't going to get the results I wanted, but at least they should have made my $2,500 worth it, especially when their investigation consisted of reviewing a document I had already taken in myself. I'm not getting my money back or my time back but I will let other know my personal experience with...
Read moreUnfortunately I can't do zero stars, but that's what Moaddel Law Firm truly deserves. This is probably the worst-run law firm I have ever had the misfortune of working with. The staff are extremely unresponsive, and after initial consultation & upfront payment, you never actually speak with any lawyer or legal professional. Interactions with any staff are few & far between. The assistants never seem to be working, and the supervisors take more than 2 weeks to return your calls if they even bother to.
We had a straightforward immigration case that just required the filing of the I601A waiver, and this process took longer than 6 months for them to even submit the forms! They've been extremely negligent and dismissive of our case, broken several deadlines, transferred us between several 'assistants' & have gotten nothing done for our case. Some supervisors have acknowledged their firm's negligence and tried partially refunding us in exchange for a 'second-chance', but even then, they've failed to follow through with anything they proposed.
We had our NVC appointment but had to reschedule because we wasted our time with this poorly run "law firm". Mr. Daniel Moadell is either too distracted to notice how poorly run his firm is, or indifferent to the concerns of his clients that pay for services upfront. Regardless, I can't help but notice the discrepancy between reviews on BBB + the amount of complaints/lawsuits filed against them compared to the superficial reviews shown on their website.
It has now been 17 months since this process began, which is roughly the time it takes to get this form approved, and we haven't even been given any receipt from USCS or confirmation of receipt from Moaddel.
After several hours of phone calls to USCIS, we were finally able to learn that the form submitted by Moaddel was DENIED back in July of 2023. Even after we called for months after July 2023, the assistants simply said it was still processing and they'd update us as soon as they had more information. As recently as December of 2023, Moaddel told us that the application was still in review. This is extremely heartbreaking and frustrating beyond comprehension. They never told us the application was denied, nor did they provide any insights into why it was denied. We have thorough documentation of all these conversations and will definitely seeking counsel from the state BAR to assess what our best course of action will be...
Read moreI would give zero stars if I could. Run, do not walk, RUN from this firm
Moaddell is a "mill" law firm. What that means is that they try to present a good appearance to attract a high volume of clients and their money (and do nothing for your case but ask you for more money, and threaten you that if you don't give them more money you will "probably end up in jail or having to use a public defender"(Instead of hiring another attorney which I did easily and had terrific results once I had a real attorney on the case.) Moaddell will try to lure you in with stories of their case "successes"( that do not exist, are made up,) and their shiny office furniture, and the few positive "reviews" you can find on them (the positive reviews are written by employees of moaddell and are not genuine.)
A complete scam to hook you into giving them your money, with increasingly higher demands for more money "or else", while they pretend they are "working" on your case and actually doing NOTHING on your case.
Their goal is to present as if they are concerned to get your money then you will never have anyone working on your case just calling and asking you for more money or putting things off over and over again.
I was a innocent person who found myself falsely accused and had no experience with the criminal justice system. I made the mistake of hiring this slick talking scam mill law firm and wasted tens of thousands of dollars on them and a year of stress and worry before I hired a real attorney who had my case completely dismissed in less than a month even during covid.
Run. Do not walk, RUN away from moaddell "law" firm. They are a "mill" law firm and care about getting your money and doing nothing as far as your case. Definitely read not just the fake positive reviews posted by their employees but the overwhelmingly negative real reviews from people they have cycled through their mill and taken their money and done no work. Definitetly go to glass door or Indeed and read the reviews from current and past employees who explain what this scam mill law firm is all about. Fyi: The judges all think they are a joke, the judges all know they are a "mill" law firm, so if you are represented by them you can count on not having a...
