I am on here to give my review of Resurrection Cemetery in Rosemead, Ca. I wish I could put a ZERO because the groundsmen do not keep up with the maintenance of the grass. They destroy it by not watering and then adding weed killer so the grass looks burnt. I’m disgusted of their so called,”policies when decorating for any Holiday.” I’ve been going to visit my Dad since 7/2006 and I play music that he enjoyed well… now my mom passed in 7/2020 and I visit and play music which helps my grieving process. Now I have security watching me at all times to see if I’m playing music and they had the audacity to tell me to turn off my music! There’s people that come and drink and have picnics at the cemetery and leave their food wrappers and I personally pick up after them but yet they are not told a word. If you have this,”policy” in place then one for all and all for one! Please do not just select certain decorations to remove and leave others . I put my Easter decorations and they were totally removed so I went back to decorate with just Easter eggs and again they were all removed! Now I’m being targeted and this is called, Harassment.” I now have several security guards driving by me while I visit my parents, uncles, aunts and friends and I’m upset that they aren’t allowing me to visit and grieve as I should. This cemetery and staff have no empathy but my parents chose this place as their final resting place. I’ve gone to Queen of Angels Cementery , Inglewood and Rose Hills Cementery and decorations are allowed and nobody is bothered because of them. Why is it so difficult for this place to understand our culture, beliefs and traditions?? They give so many excuses but please have them put a HUGE sign at entrance stating ski decorations allowed for anyone and this will go for everyone not just a few people. I’m not the only person that feels this way. Please read Resurrection Cementery’s reviews and you will understand. I wish I never had to step...
Read moreIt’s truly unfortunate that the LA Archdiocese will cover up unfair behavior for their private schools. Several parents recently found out that the principal at a school waived a full years tuition of over $10k for parents who do not qualify for financial assistance . The principal and the pastor both blatantly ignored the LA Archdiocese rules for financial assistance and waived this large amount for no reason. The pastor at the school sent a letter to all parents stating they were required to waived the debt and expect parents to believe this. We all want to ask for the same generosity but the school is avoiding this. We were hoping something would be done about this and parents wouldn’t need to address this issue but it seems like the LA Archdiocese plans on ignoring this matter. I wish they would do more. They need to restore our faith in the catholic religion. I just want the school to treat everyone fairly and not help their “friends” out. If you are thinking of putting you children in catholic school call Sacred Heart Covina and speak to Mrs.Tice or father Bill just bat your eyes and tell them you need financial help (even if you don’t qualify) and they will give it to you. Hopefully there was nothing inappropriate going on that made them waive such a large amount, maybe they did this to keep the family quiet. This wouldn’t be the first time this has happened at a church. Maybe they should give free tuition to all...
