🌴 LA mini vlog: Late Night AYCE Kbbq Best part about Los Angeles, CA? All the late night eats and various types of cuisine. My bff and I took a trip to LA to recharge & clearly refuel lmao. We arrived pretty late that day and we were STARVING! So we figured AYCE Kbbq is always the answer lol. We tried out Jjuku Jjuku and it did not disappoint. We did go with their Classic AYCE for about $30 per person. I’ll be showing you more of my trip from a few weeks back. Make sure to follow along & save these for your next LA trip. Very bad experience here. Their hours are listed as open until 1 AM yet they actually close at midnight. This wasn’t told to us when we got seated. Despite feeling rushed, we tried our best to make the best of the experience. We ordered the premium AYCE. The main reason why we ordered it was to have the beef tartar. Immediately the brisket comes out frozen… like rock hard frozen. This was an easy fix as after setting it on the grill it cooked easily. The quality was OK. Now, when the beef tartare came out, after 20 mins of waiting it was also rockhard solid frozen. We could not eat it. We politely told the server that the tartar was frozen and asked if we could have another one, instead of apologizing and trying to offer a solution she responded with “if you don’t like it you don’t have to eat it”… umm what? I was actually baffled why are we paying premium prices for food that is not edible? Ok.. let’s give the other meats a chance. The grill was burning out food and I had to get up and ask for another grill as nobody came to check on us at all when there was only two parties eating in the entire restaurant. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHECK! They made multiple errors with bringing out our check. Initially, we were charged for another parties check, we had to be bothered 4 times during our meal with check issues and trying to get it paid!!! Once the charge processed, they also ended up charging me an unauthorized tip and sent me a FORGED receipt with a forged signature! Their server literally put in a tip for herself on my card. This is fraud. Do...

I hate to write this bc their food is actually Not that bad and for someone who lives and the area and has been multiple times and enjoys bringing friends and family along. Sucks to say their professionalism and customer service went out the door. I would have to say I hate the experience I received when all I wanted was they soy stew soup either to sit down and enjoy or to go. And as I walked in I felt like I interrupted a conversation between the employees who were hurled up by the entrance. They rudely told me they cannot sit one person that it had to be two minimum and I understand as that may be their policy so I opted out to see if I could get some soup to go and they said no. Bc it’s Sunday and “they don’t do that on weekend” looking confused out of my mind I noticed there was not one soul in the establishment and asked why would that be a problem when i had previously gotten the ok from previous servers to come at any time and order menu item for in dining or to go. Sucks to have had such a horrible experience but no worries, it’s Koreatown, I’m sure there’s far more better places with better customer service who won’t turn down their guest over a stupid...

Food was just ok, pretty baseline kbbq quality, nothing too special. But what solidified it as a terrible experience was that after paying and walking outside the restaurant, the young entitled waitress who pretty much ignored us the entire meal, rushed out to us, followed us to the sidewalk and demanded to know "what was wrong with the meal". I was confused of course, and she said, "You gave a low tip, why didn't you tip more?". what?? She straight up asked me to walk back inside to give her more unnecessary money. I of course refused and she cursed at me under her breath and stormed back inside. Was honestly blown away at her snobby entitlement thinking that her subpar service deserved EXTRA charity money? Never had that happen before and the waitstaff here should be ashamed of such unnecessary, aggressive, guilt-tripping tactics. Maybe if the owners paid the staff a living wage they wouldn't be harassing and begging the customers to subsidize their income with unnecessary hand outs. Besides, I paid for my meal in full, how dare they judge the amount of charity money I decide to leave them. I don't...
