The Atmosphere Restaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in Glendale

The Atmosphere Restaurant and Hookah Lounge is wonderful and I will be back every chance I get. My friend and I were passing through LA for a weekend getaway and was recommended this place by another friend. The experience at The Atmosphere was great and we ended up coming back three nights in a row. The staff felt like friends, as they were incredibly kind and attentive. They, the staff, were honestly the best part of the entire restaurant/lounge experience. The "Atmosphere" was very relaxed, home style, but still very clean and modern. The seating is slightly cramped outside and the indoor area is quite small. However, with everything else they have to offer, no one really minds the close seating. Which often lead to meeting new friends anyways!

Again, The Atmosphere was wonderful and I am very happy I wound up there. If you get the chance, Treat Yo Self and make a visit. The food (Armenian mainly, I believe) is amazing and you get huge amounts for your money. The side of Hummus is a meal in itself and turns out to be the perfect pair to smoking hookah. The hookah is great quality (and price) and if one staff member doesn't know the answer to a detailed hookah question, someone else close by did.

Of course I find a hookah lounge while exploring Los Angeles. This place @the_atmosphere_official has great reviews and I had to check it out and I’m glad I did! Great hookah, delicious kabobs, friendly and attentive (and knowledgeable!) staff, great customer service (my coals were refreshed every 20 minutes!) and the owner is very friendly. The Shisha selections are vast, ranging from Fumari, Tangiers, Al Fakher, Trifecta, and Starbuzz. A full middle eastern food selection and refreshments and even deserts! The interior of restaurant has a very cool Egyptian theme on the walls, very artistic. Super clean and modern bathrooms. Very reasonable prices. Great overall experience! I went back a couple times during my stay. A hidden gem for sure! Currently smoking White Gummy Fumari Tobacco and Cane Mint by Tangiers Tobacco very smooth and sipping on iced coffee! The year was 2019... It was a brisk afternoon my friends and I were out for a night on the town. We figured it would be like any other friday night. We would soon find out it would be anything but normal. As soon as my friends and I walked in we were greeted with a boom of a man smacking a bowl with the force of a thousand gods. It was a truly brutal show he would pack the bowl then smack it so hard it would simultaneously pack and start smoking. By the time you got your bowls you would have massive clouds.
