Office Depot — Attraction in Los Angeles

This afternoon I took my computer to have the technician to run a diagnostic test the store manager Hugo, help me and explained to me that it would be a couple of hours that he would call me. I called back a couple hours later asked Hugo about my computer Hugo let me know that my computer was little difficult that he was waiting for Zach, another technician would be in around 3 PM and there system was down. I asked Hugo what time do you close tonight he replied 8 PM. I waited. I had no return call from Hugo or any associated. It was already 7PM, I spoke to Zach I asked for Hugo, but Hugo was busy so I asked Zach, about my computer I told him I have not herd anything from Hugo about my computer. Zach started telling me that they were bombarded with other customers with other issues that they were short staff. I asked can I come pick my computer up? Zach replied were in the process of closing at that point I was livid due to I was told by the MANAGER HUGO the store closed at 8PM ON A SATURDAY. Zach , hung up on me. I called back Hugo answered I ask him why didn’t he have the curtesy of calling me to give me an update on my computer? Hugo replied, “it was too busy” I would of understood. I was once in Hugo shoes as a store manger. I told Hugo after closing the store you could of took the time to call me to let me know that you were going to need more time that I would have to leave it over night. I let Hugo know good thing I called the store, due to I was misinformed about store hours. What kind of customer service is Office Depot training there associates? I bought a print cable for the laser printer on the Office Depot website. I needed it the right way, so I went to the San Pedro location to pick up the cables. When I arrived at the parking lot. They didn't have a curbside pickup sign, so I went inside the store. The store was small, and they kept it clean. I saw a few people were shopping in the store. When I walked into the store. There was a man who greeted me with a smile. And he said, " Can I help you"? He had a kind & friendly voice. I told him that I had come to pick up my printer cable, which I ordered online. He checked the online order for pickup & He found my cables. Anyway, after I paid for the cables, I decided to look around the store. I checked their prices which I compared with other stores. The prices were more expensive than other stores. They had clearance sales on certain items. And, I saw lots of school supplies were on sale for back to school. Anyway, I liked the customer service, but the price was pretty expensive. They had large quantities of products that were delivered to businesses. Words aren’t enough to describe how amazing the customer service is at the San Pedro Office Depot location. Specifically their employee Zack. I placed an order for something very heartfelt and from start to finish he truly provided the best customer service I have ever had in person as well as over the phone. The patience he had for me and my order, the effort and willingness to help with such a heart felt project was truly appreciated. I do not live in the area however, I called this location because it is what pulled up instantly on Google. I honestly came to this location because of how great Zack was over the phone alone.
