RollStop Sushi — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Questionable Food Prep/Storage. A friend and I went here earlier this month and got sick. We orderent different items, but both containing salmon, and both of us had stomach pain and diarrhea. My friend's case was so severe that he had to go to urgent care.

I called Rollstop several times over multiple days to alert them and request a refund. They never picked up, and their voicemail was full, so sent a text sharing our experience. They asked for the date, time, what we ordered, and a doctor's note, which I provided. They have since ghosted me and never reversed the credit card charges. Is it wrong to want your money back from a place that got you sick? I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but given their dodgy nature and excessive requests that we satisfied and no response or actions since, I question their practices.

This is also a public safety issue, so I will be escalating this to the California Food Safety board, and would discourage dining there until they have been...

Ew. I get the scallop roll all the time. Its usually delicous and packed with scallops, theyve raised the price but also lowered the amount of scallops that come with it, it came with 11 i counted, i cant even count how many came with the roll i got couple months back, ans it was beautifully cooked, the scallops today were mushy and translucent obviosuly undercooked i didnt notice til i ate a scallop on its own and it literally turned into mush in my mouth 🤢 hoping i dont get sick from this(I ATE HALF🤮). I highly recommend this sushi spot. Their Baked Salmon Roll, Salmon Avocado Roll, and Miso Soup is soooooo good. I was so pleased with how fast they were with my order.
