I want to give an honest opinion about this trail. It was my first time, and I wasn't sure what to expect since I just chose the first trail I could find since it was almost time for the sun set. Although I came across a few trail runners, they kept to themselves as I am sure they felt the same way I did. This trail was really eerie and seemed sketchy. There are a lot of trees and not many people in sight. I came across a few homeless people, one of whom was very aggressive and seemed a bit paranoid or schizophrenic. I took a wrong turn down hill and was heading towards a very dark and sketchy path but decided to turn back cause of instinct. Luckily, I came across another trail runner who said he runs here every evening. So, I asked to accompany him back. After. A while, I decided to run on the streets back to the parking lot before finding myself back on the main trail. I decided to continue the run on the trail, but I was never at ease. The trail itself is very nice, and I can see the appeal if the city could just upkeep the trail a bit. If you decide this hike is for you. I advise doing it during sunlight and with others around for your own safety. Again, this was MY experience. I am an avid runner and hiker, and I felt more at ease in woods with bears and mountain lions than this trail. So... take that for what you will. The view is nice during the sun set, though. I'll give it that.

100% transition skatepark. No street elements. The whole thing is on a slope so you generate a lot of speed instantly. I found it very difficult to skate- give me a curb and a Manny pad any day! The pool is a nice feature, complete with steps, ladder and light. Proper California. You can only really skate the park one person at a time. It's a recipe for disaster if 2 people drop in at the same time. I'm sure the locals keep the new kids in check though. This park is not for beginners.

I wanna give my honest opinion iv always wanted to come here and walk the trails cause I always heard about this park, when I finally got the chance it seem so chill yet quiet it was so dark and errie down there and I went around 12-1 it literally got deeper and two of the trail options take u same end depending how u go and yeah just something I probably wouldn't wanna do at night I notice homeless ppl too and just ignored , when I came out of the trails and could the refinery in the distance there were more small paths to choose but I wasn't expecting this .... On the right side of the hills there are houses 🏘️, and idk if some houses are for sale or whatever but this made me trip ... A man saw me and started to walk down the hillside although he wasn't homeless he was actually dressed pretty decently well like ud go to church or something even had gell in his hair I could tell but what made me feel weird out he wore like this blue robe over his clothes, not like a bath robe and what weirded me out if u chose to go back up he stood there watching me smoking a cigarette, I didn't know how to feel but behind me a lady walking her dog I asked if she could accompany me and yeah just I Honestly wish I got it on video , Be careful hope my experience...

a pet park has always been a great park for me it's my childhood I go there I take a little stroll and when I'm mad and at the end you get a fresh of breath air every time you leave there it's perfect every time I go there it's never heavy traffic on the trails but there's definitely people that's pretty cool because if you finish the trail and if you go on top of the hill and if you see reach a left turn that leads you downhill take it cuz it leads you to a ton of art AKA just kids tagging on the sewer. to go there it's really easy it's just you have to in the beginning of the trail just take the right path not the left one and just keep heading straight the tunnel is always open too so you can if you feel curious you can look inside a sewer tunnel I don't recommend going in unless you got a really great flashlight and a protection...
