Cielo Apartments — Local services in Los Angeles

Cielo Apartments is the MOST DISGUSTING building I've ever been in in my entire life! The building is infested with roaches and the building management is aware of of. In fact, I witnessed the building Gabriel Guzman ADMIT that the building IS infested and asked the resident if they'd like pest control to spray their unit. What he didn't see was me standing in the hallway to properly identify him, heat him admit to knowing the building is infested while roaches crawled everywhere! They main issue is the 3 garbage chutes they have that lead to dumpsters, they have only been cleaned 3 times in the nearly 2 years I've endured here. Instead of cleaning the chutes weekly to reduce the roaches, they're having the leasing office renovated. I was mistaken for another resident that was behind on their rent due to loss of income from Covid-19 as millions of people have suffered and instead of professionalism, a phone call, email or any attempt at a meeting...Gabriel Guzman and his rag tag band of haphazard maintenence team members attempted to breakdown the door to our apartment at 9am using a metal object at 9am!!

Due to the sever stress their negelence to make ANY accommodations for me as a disabled American, their NON-EXISTENT sanitation standards have caused me intense suffering and has made working from home nearly IMPOSSIBLE for me so I can move out and onto better, I was suffering from debilitating muscle spasms and excruciating pain from a medical condition that once paralyzed me that's triggered by stress, toxins and lack of rest.

The roaches trigger my bodies inability to regulate chemicals/toxins as they have venom and carry countless diseases, bacteria and viruses so my health declined while being here when I moved here to heal and have a fresh start to a new life...so I have allergic attacks to them. So, I obviously cannot have any chemicals sprayed in my apartment unit to pacify the issue of the building being infested. This has forced me to invest my own money by the hundres of dollars to use all natural products to repell the roaches. This only causes more stress because the money I could have saved to move was spent on repelling an infestation that dates back to the 1990's when this building had another name with THE SAME PROBLEM!! To make matters worse, my vehicle tire was slashed by someone that lived in the building and was very destructive. According to other residents this person has slashed 23 vehicle tires, attacked a security guard and pulled a knife on someone. I was notified the day after the incident and have had ZERO follow-up on the matter since! Then the building was set on fire in the middle of the night and my apartments electrical was the most damaged so I was majorly inconvenienced in the process of repairing it. To add insult to injury, Gabriel accused me of being a scandalous person by saying he thought I just abandoned the apartment without paying rent so they had the right to breakdown the door to see if I was still here!! I have NEVER given any indication that I would EVER do such a thing yet he attacked my character without any regard for me as a person. Despicable, disgusting and definitely a violation of my human rights so I write this to help save anyone else from the suffering I've endured in this place. You deserve better than this place is willing to offer you, go to a better place and stay away from Cielo Apartments GREYSTONE MANAGEMENT GROUP is unprofessional and inhumane...

Where ever you go or live there will always be pros and cons. This is an honest review of Regency, now Cielo Apartments. CONS - Traffic, trash, laundry always "broken," roaches, and parking issues. One thing about roaches, Its everywhere in the Valley. The Management provides fumigation and it helps getting rid of the roaches. Parking - We hate that there's always somebody taking over our space and we have to call the office a lot. PROS - Cielo is closed to almost everything, from groceries to Banks; Maintenance people are always available. They're professional and good at what they're doing. Amenities - one of the best we have seen.

Overall, we did try looking around to move but its almost the same rent price. I know MARCO is hard to handle but we get it, he has to be strict at times to ensure policies are being implemented and a good standard is maintained. We can always be mad at him but he has to do his job.

We have been living here for six years now. The thought of always moving is always 'there,' but we weigh things and we still feel secure and comfortable.

We cannot have it all! Still, were hoping for good things to happen with the vast improvement they have done...

Do not move here waste of money walls are paper thin you have no privacy. New Manager is rude and nosey and maintenance doesn't do anything but always taking up the elevators instead of taking the stairs inconveniencing tenants.The people that's supposed to be cleaning are always standing in the blind spots where there are no cameras, standing around talking on the phone getting paid to do nothing.Elevators are always broken ,front lobby elevator takes forever . I lived here over 10 years and building is now unlivable.Not worth the new renters insurance fees that didn't exist in the past.Your packages will get stolen and management don't care. Everyone in leasing office is nice until your on the lease then there rude with bad customer service. The building have rules they made up including not being able to even have plants on your balcony. Roaches and rodents in the walls ,they painted over a run down building that should have been torn down.Property is next to a recycling place so there's always homeless people around the building. Building hasn't been ran properly since Regency Premier no longer owns location. Moved out and will never look back do not waste your money...
