Ross Dress for Less — Attraction in Los Angeles

The store is always pretty organized, but the customer service is truly a joke, atleast in my case; i went in for a return and only one person was at the register, and once a second person came to help they never called for a return, as is people were not also waiting to do a return. I kept waiting, then, I overheard an employee say they let someone use the restroom so I decided to just go to the restroom, then go back in line, because hopefully by then It would be better. I went to the back of the store and asked some girl whom was most likely pregnant, if i could please use the bathroom she said with that they "are out of order." She definitely looked like she didnt wanna be there. What is the point of saying that tho? I could be having some type of health problems or be pregnant. There is no need to pick and choose who has the privilege to use the restroom. I was there to spend more money not to steal, or clog your toilet, you know what i mean. I really should've asked for a manager but i really had to use the restroom, so I just left. I hope that in the future they hire people with better customer service. Their loss prevention team racial profiles. All across the LA county I’ve experienced this at their stores but especially at this location. I’ve never seen a loss prevention specialist that was black or white in a Ross store in LA and everyone knows Mexicans / those of Spanish decent show an un-proportioned amount of favoritism to their own kind. It’s intentional and frustrating to be treated indirectly and directly as a potential threat to the store and not a loyal customer. I absolutely hate coming into this store now a days.

They go out of their way to make eye contact/ greet/harass African Americans upon entering and exiting the store but they don’t greet everyone.

They also racially profile these same ppl and follow them around the store while young Mexican teenagers steal merchandise under their nose. I was literally watching a young boy steal in the store while a loss prevention specialist constantly eye stalked me...

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOCATION Nice location in a nice strip mall but I believe that I was racially profiled. Upon entering the store I shopped as I normally do, and sometimes I'm an indecisive shopper as we all are sometimes. Fast forward to standing in line at check out, one employee proceeded to speak into her walkie talkie microphone while looking directly at me. She was speaking directly to LP( Loss prevention) and he too looked directly at me as speaking into his microphone of his walkie talkie. I then was called by that same employee to check out with and she was very rude, lacked customer service skills of any kind. She didn't greet me, didn't say thank you or anything! Someone who has worked in retail for over 10 years I knew what they were doing and thinking. Its just sad because this location is surrounded by such great places to shop but I will not be shopping...
