This place used to be very good until a couple of weeks ago. If you wanted to buy a piece of furniture they were flexibje if you couldnt take it with you the same day. now they have a new manager who under no circumstances, no matter how much you beg will allow you to buy furniture if you cant take it with you right the way. I can understand that some people might not pick up the furniture for days and it can create lack of space for other pieces coming in, but there is a solution for this. they should write on the receipt that if the furniture is not pick up the following day, they will put it back for sale inmediately. with a policy like this everybody was going to pick up their furniture without any dejays. But unfortunately the new manager is unable to think out of the box. How is it possible that "we buy their merchandise, we donate our stuff, and he cant not be a little, tiny flexible? What happened to good customer service? The goodwill gives their customer a couple of days to pick up any furniture purchased, they understand that some times people doesnt have at that particular moment a car big enough for the furniture purchased. If they continued like they will ended up losing customers, and ended up with many pieces of...
Read moreWhomever has been recently put in charge of pricing needs to find a different job. I could DEFINITELY find stuff for cheaper on ebay.
Video games should be all same price just like EVERY other thrift store. You are out of your mind for being a thrift store and not knowing how to charge.
For example, Elder Scrolls Anthology for PC a couple of weeks ago was priced at Savers for $99.99. Just do a quick search on eBay and you can get it for roughly $60.
If you plan on coming here to flip items, save yourself the time and go somewhere else.
If you truly want to buy items for yourself, do a quick search online and I am almost certain you can get it cheaper somewhere else.
If you only want to go there for clothing there sure I guess I would say go for it.
Otherwise, I wont recommend it. Half of the tech items, the workers have no clue what it is and price way incorrectly. Like I said, just do a little bit of research before throwing your money away to this place.
I used to love coming here, but recently the people in charge of pricing have been seriously out of their minds.
P.S. This does not pertain to Willy. That guy is cool. Savers in Lomita needs more...

If you need a toaster, coffee maker, or bakeware, this is the place for you.
Donations on the south side of the store, are rewarded with discount cards to use inside the store.
Know your brands, because they have an assortment of Ralph Lauren shirts, Croft& Barrow, Banana Republic, Gap, and Chico's, all mixed in with everything else.
All clothing is separated by sizes, so you don't have to look through all the extra large or whatever size you don't wear, to find something nice in your size. This really saves you a lot of time.
In the back of the store, there are draperies, shower curtains, 100% cotton sheets & pillowcases, and I have purchased some nice items from world market, Pier 1, Pottery Barn and IKEA there.
If you like to sew, you can cut up these items which yield about 5 yards of fabric, for about 1 to 2 dollars a yard. Compare that to fabric at Joanne's! So there are lots of reasons to...
