Stairway to ocean — Attraction in Los Angeles

That part of the ocean was so beautiful I didn't even know that it had even existed until me and my husband started walking around there. Unfortunately, very run down and the air is thick with pot smoke. The tide pools are dead, with almost no marine life; an unfortunate effect of the pollution from off shore dumping of chemicals during the first part of the 20th century. The steps and and vertical surfaces are thick with graffiti. The attempt to close off this park with temporary fencing has been a failure, and there has been no attempt to fix the fence since it has been trampled over.
