Due to a bank dispute with US Bank, my assets were frozen for months and I wound up not being able to pay my rent. A friend let me stay in his tent in the park and I lived there for 5 months before the PATH housing people, who regularly came to the park, gave a hotel voucher. I made some friends there and even though there are occasionally mentally disturbed people who stay there, it overall was fairly safe. It was like camping! I'm glad to be out if there though! It's nice that the City of Westchester has let the homeless stay here during the pandemic. Oh, and medical teams come here about twice a week. Other organizations brings food occasionally.
