So I just landed at LAX and wanted some Pho I googled and this place was only 8 mins away from airport. We get there and walk in it was a little smoky inside as if they didn’t have enough vents. We arrive at 9pm they close in a hour keep in mind only going to order Pho which anyone who knows about Pho it doesn’t take long at all to serve if it’s a pho restaurant. No one was waiting behind us we get up to the register and I start to see the menu because they have a few different options thin noodle or wide noddle and different meats so I was looking would of taken me just a couple of minutes. The young girl says what do I want to order. Nicely I say just one minute first time here. She rolls her eyes and literally waits 3 seconds and my husband was right about to say something she cuts him off as he is telling her his order and tells me we stop taking dine in orders in 30 mins with an attitude keep in mind my husband was already trying to order his Pho I tell him my husband it isn’t going to take us 30 mins to order as I say that my husband again starts to say his order and she cuts him off AGAIN and says is there a problem. I say what? She says ya you said something. At that point I’m upset because she is just being flat rude! So I respond yes I did say something to my husband that it isn’t going to take us 30 mins to order! And your just being flat rude to us! I also told her this service is terrible husband tells me let’s just leave I tell her first time here and you gave the worst customer service experience! Can’t say food is bad, because I didn’t get to the try or see it. But after being on a flight you defiently don’t want to experience rudeness!!! HIGHLY DON’T RECOMMEND. Due to BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. And this is the photo I took as I left of the employee who was SUPER RUDE! Can’t say her name because no name tags, but it worked out because 2 mins away there was a Thai place that was delicous and super nice customer service and the atmosphere walking in was...
Read moreI use to live in LA but I moved away but flew back in for a visit and wanted to stop and get some pho
You know this place deserves 5 stars I feel but with the encounter I had just rubbed me the wrong way. Every time I’ve been here I’d had nothing but amazing service. Food is amazing. I’d recommend the shaken beef with garlic noodle and their pho with wide noodles. ( meatball, tripe, and brisket with beef broth)
I’m very picky about pho and think it’s hard to find in Los Angeles. You have to travel to OC for good pho but this I would say is the closest one to home in the LA county area.
I would consider myself a regular but I came in late one night and the waiter William took my order and handed it to me to go and did not mention anything of it being a to go order.
Pho is generally not to go meal and had I known I would have opted into a rice dish or something else. However the waiter dropped the food to me and didn’t say anything about it being to go and said we close at 8.
I just thought it was extremely rude given that there were other people in the lobby dining as well.
I feel this would have been avoiding with a simple, hey we’re closing and we’re doing to go only.
However the way I perceived it was here’s your order get out we close at 8. I have somewhere else to be
I would hope this is just a one off situation but generally restaurants let you eat there if you make it there before doors close and if other people are still dining
Was still impressive on how it was packaged for delivery well though Ate while charging my car and it ended up...
Read moreI came into because I really wanted pho. I was told this place was great. I ordered the vegan broth with salmon, shrimp and vegetables. I ordered vegan egg-rolls with a raspberry lemonade. Due to my religion, I do not consume pork I see that they had shoulder pork egg rolls, but didn’t think anything of it when I clearly ordered the vegan egg rolls. The eggrolls came out first and I started to consume them. The first 2 I can confirm were indeed vegan, the third one I’ve bite into and ate I know it taste differently. I was very curious and open the egg roll splitting it in half it reveal that there was pork and shrimp for my third egg roll on my plate. This experience has left me with a lot of questions. I am a very nice person. I’m not sure know how I can keep moving forward, knowing that I have ate and done something that’s unhealthy and against my Gods teachings. I don’t even know how to explain this to my husband. The cashier refunded me the whole meal. Honestly a refund isn’t want I wanted. I wanted her to tell me no it wasn’t pork and that everything was fine. Please staff I asks that you double check the food please I don’t want anyone going thru what I am currently going thru. To everyone it seems like I am over exaggerating but but not to be able to take my hijab or be laid with my family at peace is a big...
