Caravan Swim Club: A Welcoming Oasis for Overcast Days
If you're looking for a warm and inviting place to enjoy a meal or drink, even on an overcast day, look no further than Caravan Swim Club. This poolside restaurant at Hotel June in Westchester, California has clear plastic shades that reduce the wind and allow the light and scenery to shine through.
On a recent overcast day, I was greeted by a friendly hostess who suggested the shrimp tacos. I'm so glad I took her advice! The tacos were perfectly seasoned and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. You can also enjoy the margaritas, which are made with fresh ingredients and are the perfect complement to a meal.
While I didn't have a chance to swim on my visit, I could tell that Caravan Swim Club is a great place to spend a sunny day. The pool is surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs and cabanas, and there's also a fire pit for cooler evenings.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Caravan Swim Club. The food was delicious, the drinks are refreshing, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to relax and enjoy a meal or drink, even on an overcast day.

Read moreI love Mexican food and I look for good hole in the walls as well as fine dining places. I have been here 6 or more times. My family used to love the food here. Everything we tried was just amazing. My kids looked forward to coming here. The last 2 time we ate the we had a completely different experience. I feel like the food quality has changed for worse. Our last visit the food quality and taste was so bad that we did not finish our food. The only reason I am giving them a 3 is because of the service because the service is actually pretty good when you are in there.
On a side note do not try to contact them for events or for anything as they are really, really bad. Once I wanted to have an office party there and I tried to reach our at least 5 times and even tried to reach the manager for the Resturant and the hotel and they did not even call me back.
This review is an average rating for the over all experience. If I was to rate the last 2 visit and the management skills they would really get a big 0 star.

Read moreI live in Playa, and I'm so happy to have Caravan Swim Club in the neighborhood! It is a perfect date spot, girls night spot, and just all around fun spot. The decor makes you feel like you've been transported to Tulum, but unlike most "pretty" restaurants, the food and drinks are great too. The cocktails are inventive and tasty. I had the Bad Rabbit, a mezcal - carrot juice cocktail, and was pleasantly surprised at the combo of sweet carrot and smoky mezcal with honey and citrus (I had multiple!). Food-wise, whoever invented the vegan cauliflower nachos deserves a Nobel Prize. My friend and I scraped this plate clean. Crispy cauliflower with creamy cashew-coconut-tumeric cheeze? Amazing. The garnish of radishes, pickled onions, and other crunchy bits was great too. My salmon entree was delicious, crispy skin and tender fish with great lobster sauce and the puffed rice was the perfect textural counterpoint. My friend had the burger protein-style and said it was great as well. Our waitress was great, just the right amount of attentive but gave us space as well. I would highly recommend Caravan...
