YOLO Foot Spa — Attraction in Los Angeles

I’d like to preface this by saying my first visit to this place was great, but my second visit completely changed my mind.

My Second Experience: I specifically requested Summer, as she had done a great job previously. Upon arrival, the receptionist asked if I wanted hot stones (I declined) and if I had any focus areas (I requested extra attention to my forearms). I also opted for stronger pressure this time instead of medium, expecting a deep but controlled massage.

However, Summer applied an extreme amount of pressure—far beyond anything I had ever experienced. It felt excessive and unrefined, and two days later, I woke up with sharp pain in my neck and back. I couldn’t turn my head in either direction. It became clear that she was using improper techniques, including what felt like chiropractic maneuvers she is not qualified to perform.

Adding to my frustration, she completely ignored my request to focus on my forearms. Worse, despite me declining hot stones at the front desk, she asked me again mid-session—similar to my first visit, where she used them without my consent.

A week later, I am still recovering from the stiffness in my neck. It’s a shame because I had high hopes after my first visit, but I won’t be returning. I caution anyone considering this place to be extra careful with who they book and what...

One of the best kept secrets in LA. Is it a secret? No but what a way to start a review on google. In a city where massage parlors are as common as donut shops and gas stations it’s hard to know which ones are legit clean professional relaxing etc. Look no further, because while Y may indeed OLO, at YOLO, you can actually get this once in a lifetime treatment whenever you want. Parking is plentiful, the availability spilleth over, the communication great, and the hot stones worth every pebble. My pro tip for you is to remember to use your library voice inside. I once came into the lobby talking like a carnival barker and I felt like a real dummy when I realized there was a sensual stone massage happening mere inches away. The prices here are so reasonable you can and should tip $20+ or more. Update: This is still my top spot. I tried a few others in the area and they aren’t consistent like YOLO. If you want to be truly pulverized ask for Kelly. The receptionist kept referring to Kelly’s strength but I was truly not prepared. Yes it gets to the point where you’re trying to remember your safe word, so if that’s your bag this is your woman! you feel so transformed afterward you wonder if you should really be driving yourself home or...

Finally a place in LA that has proper massage therapists! I am a particular person and everytime I make a request to work on a certain body part, most therapists dont listen to me! Its very frustrating. But not this place. I called beforehand and the lady over the phone was very thorough and wrote all my needs down. And on the day of my appointment she communicated them back to me and the therapist! Great! I didnt have to repeat myself 😅

And my therapist, James, omg hands down one the best messages I've ever had! First of all he introduced himself and talked to me about my needs/expectations. And then he exceeded them! I didnt have to correct his pressure or tell him to work on a spot more, he really listened to my body, with intention and intuition. I really like that he focused on certain trigger points in areas I had no idea about. His pressure was firm but also dynamic where it needed to be. And he placed hot stones and hot towels on me while he worked on my feet! 😍

On top of that, this 90 minute massage was so affordable! Its really a good incentive I think for people to tip the therapists well, as they deserve for listening well, working hard, and for putting up with people like me 😅... and to come back. Which I...
