All Good Computers — Attraction in Louisville

Took my son’s computer to get a free estimate. Was told motherboard needed to be replaced but he had to call some of his supplier to see if they had a motherboard for that specific computer. He was unable to find a motherboard through his supplier so he said he would continue to look. Then while looking for a motherboard, he called and told me that the thermal or something along those lines (I’m not very familiar with computers) needed to be replaced. He then said at that time that it just would not be worth putting the work into that computer. He said if I came in the store, he would work a deal with me on another computer. My son and I went into the store where he tried to sell us an older computer that had a crack in it totaling $503.00. I told him I would be back needing time to think about it, which I did and decided not to go with that computer. I told him I will be back to pick up my computer that was dropped off to him for the free estimate. When I arrived, he had my computer sitting on the counter and he told me it would be $125.00 I said for what? He said because he worked on the computer. I said well I’m sure you had to look at it in order to tell me that the motherboard needed to be replaced (In order to give a free estimate to fix something you have to find out what needs to be fixed) and the other part. But you called me telling me it’s not worth putting that type of work and money into the computer that I had. So if you’ve done any work on the computer, which I doubt, it was not authorized to do so. Being that I took your advice and did not want to put the money into it to be fixed. Which is why we was just in there the day before to look at other computers. Bottom line, he tried to get something for nothing out of me. The computer was not fixed and he was upset that I chose not to go with the older computer he was trying to sell me. So customers just beware. He seems like a nice guy, but he is was certainly trying to pull something over on me. I refused to pay what he was asking being that it just was not right. Right is right, wrong is wrong do not say free estimates if you’re going to charge for the estimate. He was very wrong. I did walk away with my computer after repeatedly having to tell this man, he is wrong and argue with him. I will not be back Which is unfortunate because I was fooled and really thought this was a good company. Not!!! … now he is responding to my review with false information….. now, if you see below, he is responding to my review which is definitely false information. Starting with ex-husband, I don’t even have an ex-husband. And no, he never talked price with me because he never did work. Yes, I was supposed to come back after thinking about if I wanted that computer or not. With a horrible crack in it no I did not want to pay that much. It obviously had been dropped or something. and chose not to go with that computer I called him and can post call log here of our calls. The problem was I told him I was coming to pick up my computer. That is when I feel he took good parts off of my computer before I arrived. and then wanted to charge me for it. After never discussing a price with me why because there never was any work authorized for him to do on it. So the bottom line of this review is the free estimates are fine well and good until you choose not to go with his estimate. Then he wants to throw in some type of way to charge you for nothing. Been in business 19 years, but how many people have you ripped off within those years thank God I was not one of them I would not stand for it as I stated before ride is right wrong is wrong. This business was definitely wrong. I’m not even wanting to do reviews, but this was a must. I needed to make people aware of what was going on with this business believe who you want. Yes, I refuse to pay the price because I constantly told him it was wrong and he certainly knew he was wrong as well. Not telling anyone to not go to this place of business I’m just saying, be careful and don’t let them...

Met the owner in 2008 after returning from Iraq and retiring from the Marine Corps. To this day and some 10+ years later, 98% of the maintenance on my laptops and desktops are performed at this business. One of the few that will only charge you for what is wrong and not upcharge you simply because it was a simple fix.

Why pay the extra costs that come with a brand new computer when you can buy a refurbished one that has the same capabilities for much less.

I am not sure where some of those bad reviews came from but it sure was not this place. Sometimes, if your machine is really messed up, then there might not be much to do with it that is "economical" to us the customer. The owner will provide you with good sound advice but it is your decision on what you want to do with that advice.

Over a 10 year span I’ve bought several refurbished computers from here. They each worked perfectly and lasted as long as my brand new $1000.00 one. The one review that accused this man of taking advantage must have been off her medication. He has always treated me like I was his best customer and I will continue to go there....
