It is a beautiful place to be and a even better place to bring loved ones. It would be even better if they hired me. I've been trying to work here for years and change things for the better. The trials need to be cleaned and cleared of spiders and ticks. I almost got bit over a thousand times so never go in the woods at night without a light and proper foot gear. The Fence was a waste of time to put up and the look out use to be taller. Money wasted and I could have made it a lot better. 1 million dollars gone to waste. This is the inner sanctuary. Not to mention all the events if you were looking for action. Hike up to the overlook to get a view of the downtown skyline. A great view of Thunder Over Louisville. Renovation is currently underway in the upper tier of the park, but it can still be enjoyed on horseback or foot. Read moreI had mostly good experiences here. There were some concerning signs of people ENcamping within the park. With some litter and graffiti. But the stairs look semi maintained, felt safe to walk up and be at the top.
