Colonial Gardens — Restaurant in Louisville

Fish and chips made me vomit. Hush puppies and pretzel both came out with a dark coloring and burnt smell, like the oil hadn't been changed in ages. My fiancé and I both tried the fish and it was mushy and tasted rotten... two bites later and I was running to the bathroom to puke. We asked for the fish and chips to be taken off, as they had literally just made me ill. We were only offered a redo on the fish and chips, which I obviously wasn't in the mood for, but our server refused to take off anything. $67 for food poisoning, thanks so much BA(cteria) Colonial.

Updated: I wrote this review around 1:30pm, when we left the restaurant. As of 1:49pm, both my fiancé and I have vomited, after he only had one bite of fish, and I had two. I have never had such a disgusting restaurant experience, and that's including getting food poisoning 2 days...

Tacos weren't flavorful. Meat was dry (pork) and quite overpriced for the location. Queso is pretty terrible no flavor at all, just pure white cheese and super hot. Queso is supposed to have peppers and jalapenos, and salsa! WHERE IS THE FLAVOR OWNERS OF TACO LUCHADOR??? Not to mention all the plastic they use...you arent reducing, reusing, or recycling and that IS NOT ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS OR FRIENDLY. I HAVE PAPER STRAWS AT MY HOUSE! This is a nice little local restaurant with lots of Louisville memorabilia inside. The service was amazing and the food was even better. Sat at the bar and had my dinner. The waitress talked to us forever. It was a very nice experience. The food was way better than I thought it would even be. Overly impressed. I've passed this restaurant up several times and never went in always chose somewhere different to go. I won't be doing that anymore this will definitely be one of...
