Ky state fair prices, and stuff, no shuttle service till later, tea prices will not give you lemon 4 to 14.00. The only place who will treat you right and won't cheat you is looking left facing the entrance front! Says corn 🌽 on cob! $10.00 unsweetened and sweet with lemon 🍋 if you want. The food is different prices at different booths, corn dogs $8.00 to 10.00 eh. Bottle water mine was warm $4.00 on up. The fair Says same prices on same items... Bs, the fair Google search said food ranges from $4.00 to $8.00. More false information! It's more like $8.00 to $15.00 !!! I did not see any vendors that were wearing gloves. Not very sanitary. So take a whole lot of money, or bring your own food!! understood that teens had to have an adult at arms link with no more than four , well that's another problem starting at noon at the front were pick nick tables where across from Freddy's farmers, seen one kid like ones at st Joseph picnic had a hateful look on her face hiding and heading towards the large group of other unsupervised kids. I do not want to be around this type of problem!!! While state police stay near cattle entrance and the horse area. So we left before anything broke out, being there only 2 hours.
So pre pare to wait from 11 am on for only 2 shuttles to start, and it's fact! nothing has changed at Ky State fair, including high prices, more junk, and a lot of, lot of, lot of, walking for nothing. Even though they said the lottery would be there! They just want to tell you about the lottery and sign up on line a fair vendor told me. Wrong!!! But if you have a lot of time on your hand and money to burn, want to see a lot of kids and many overweight people onscooters, it's your...
Read moreOverall experience was nice, the people managing the rides were nice, and the lines weren’t too long. The arm bands are a descent price. It was trying to get there. The road was blocked off to the fair then there was a sign saying use Gate 6 and I never saw gate 6 so I called and there was a really nice lady that directed me to gate 2 which led me in over the phone. I cannot think of her name. When I got to the gate I spoke to the lady and she told me someone donated tickets for admission to get it which I was very thankful for but I was the manner and which she did it. After she told me that all I asked was “is there a receipt or anything I need to put in the car” or anything I’ll need to show once I park (because I’m not from here and this was my f time coming)?? She said you should be thankful for this, please go and proceeded to wave me on along. That was not called for, it took everything out me not to say something back. See people do “nice things” that always comes with a price. I did not catch her name at gate 2, black lady in her 50’s with curly hair and a missing tooth on the side. I guess I irritated her by asking did I need a receipt or something to put in my car or show when I get in. I’ve never been there before so I had no idea what I was gonna need. Other than that I’ll...

// CAUTIONS: — as always, parking can be a nightmare at peak times; I do applaud the facility’s effort to make it go as well as possible — the cost of food and rides can add up quickly; if you are prepared, a KSF visit can be as expensive or inexpensive as you make it — large crowds of unsupervised teens can get out of hand at night; steer clear and you’ll be fine
// BAD: — animal competitions with little attendance command the use of indoor arenas while concerts with thousands in attendance are in a parking lot
// OVERALL, the KSF is a spectacular event and a...
