I'm not one to usually leave bad reviews, usually most poor experiences are minor and I just choose to let it go, bad days happen, but this was failure at every step, and I think it's important to be noted. Quite possibly the worst experience in any restaurant I've had. I wish I had taken notes because I'm sure I'll leave things out. We arrived at 6:15 were promptly seated, and then wasn't spoken to again for 20min. There was absolutely no sense of urgency from the server. She didn't seem to know which tables she had been to or not. We had several attempted food deliveries to our table even though we haven't even received silverware (never did get any, we asked for napkins from the bar, which were tiny little drink napkins) or drinks yet, we still had menus. We were given 2 menus for the 4 of us. Once the bartender told the server to come over to take out order (I had asked several people so far). she said she could only take our drink order and would have to come back, even though we told her we were ready to order food.. the drink order was extremely slow and they forgot a drink (pretty sure it went to the table next to us as they all looked pretty confused when it was delivered). People all around were asking to order or get their check etc.. once drinks arrived we ordered food. Food arrived finally arrived at 7:15 giving us 10 minutes to eat before our movie started. One of us didn't receive one of our orders but didn't have time to deal with it. So we hurriedly are our burgers and ended up taking fries into the movie. We tracked down our server right as the food arrived to ask for our check, which was quick. We had 2 cards and asked for a 50% split which came back 60/40 split.. then she vanished and we had no pens with 1 min to movie time. Throughout the movie we were stood in front of, walked in front of (slowly) constantly by food deliveries that were for other people.. they seemed to just walk up and down rows asking everyone if it was theirs. I wasn't able to see the climatic final scene because I was being given a milkshake I didn't order. It wasn't busy enough to warrant the mess this was. I was really excited to have a new theater close by and not have to go to Centerra, Fort Collins or Longmont, but we likely won't be back.
All that said: The burger was delicious, wish I had more time to enjoy it.
Edit: as expected was given the same generic response as everyone else.. I expect no changes and will continue...
Read moreI ordered food and drinks in the app at time of booking tickets online since we were going on a fun, small dinner date. The website said food and drinks will be prepared once tickets are scanned in theatre. We arrived at the theatre 30 minutes before start time to give the kitchen a head start on food. We were told to go find our seat and they will bring us the food and drinks. Almost an hour in and still no food or drinks. People who got there 30 minutes after we did were strolling in with their food and drinks. We left the movie to go check on our food and drinks and were told they do not start getting our food ready until the movie starts. False advertisement much?... and the employee also stated they were slammed and we may not get our food. We just have to wait and see if they can get to our order and if not, they will give us a refund. I even pre-tipped when I preordered on the app. So in my head, I'm thinking.. so there is no point in preordering and prepaying, right... since people who came in to order at the counter gets first priority?? Then... they said they were out of our drink so we would need to pick something else. When I placed the Nacho order online, I asked for cheese, salsa, and jalapeno on the side but everything was thrown in the box on top of each other. Some ingredients on the menu that were supposed to come with the nachos were missing. They must think just because it will be dark, we wouldn't notice but there is something called flashlight on the phone. Chips were extra extra salty to the point that they were bitter. The Colorado poutine was not bad though and neither was the ravioli sliders.
The armrest to our seats had soda stains but aside from that, the theatre was clean for the most part.
Besides the horrible service and food... the movie experience was amazing. Sound quality and picture quality was phenomenal!
I'd probably give this theatre one more try in the future to see if maybe I just went in on a bad day.. or maybe not... still debating. But all in all, even though I enjoyed the screen time, I'd rather take my...
Read moreWe were treated to a family movie outing as a Christmas present. Half of us went to Jumanji 3, the other half went to see Little Women. Reclined seating was very comfortable. We didn't order any food to our seats. My nieces went down and stood in line to order their sodas before the movie started. I think if they would've ordered to their seat, it may have been quicker, as there were plenty of servers running around with people's orders. Most of our group was in the top row, so everything was in front of and below us. I've got fairly good hearing, but I thought the movie volume could've been just a tad bit higher. There were plenty of laugh out loud moments in Jumanji, unfortunately I could hear laughter and comments from a few rows away that seemed loud relative to the movie sound. My dad sat in the row ahead of us, as we couldn't get 4 seats together. He has hearing aids and was seated next to a loud child. I'm not sure if he would've been a whole lot better in the back row, as it seemed the speakers were more forward and his hearing aids pick up sounds better behind him. Just wondering are there headsets or different seating for the hearing impaired? If he watches a movie at home or even just regular shows/sports, he's always got the closed captioning on. Obliviously, CC isn't an option for a public movie theater, but headsets or seating closest to the speakers would be better options for him to still be able to enjoy theater movies. I didn't hear what the ladies thought of their movie experience at Little Women, only that my oldest niece didn't like how the movie ended. Overall, my nieces and I enjoyed the movie experience and it's always more fun to laugh with a group of people. If there are options for the hearing impaired, that would be good to know and I'll investigate more for my dad's sake, so he can have a better movie experience next time. Dad did say that the burger the lady on the other side of him ordered,...
