Artisan You — Attraction in Loveland

I brought my 3 kids here for something fun to do. When we entered the building there was no employee to be found so we waited a while. Once an employee came they seemed inconvenienced that we were there. The selection of items to paint wasn’t the best. They have what seems like a lot of stuff but it’s all just very random. I had to ask to have water put in our cups. When one employee asked another if we had enough sponges her reply was “they have two they’ll be fine”. There were 4 of us. Once we were finished the employee was annoyed because we didn’t have some sheet filled out that was supposed to have the prices of each piece on it. We were never given the sheet. So her way of coming up with prices was to guess. And she said “ we’re either losing a ton of money or you’re getting ripped off”. Then her iPad wasn’t working and so we waited another 20 mins for that. I always have grace with people but it just wasn’t a good experience. This mother-daughter-run business is truly special—you can feel their care for the community and passion for what they do. They’ve been incredibly helpful, friendly, patient, and kind, answering all my questions and considering my ideas with such enthusiasm. Walking in feels like being a kid in a candy store for me with far more creative possibilities than most “paint your own pottery” studios offer. I love how they make space for unique artistic expression and find ways to bring ideas to life.

What a wonderful experience, they have a nice selection of pieces to choose from, the owner was just a joy to talk to and she even showed us around the old home while giving us a back story on the place. There were some discontinued items which they placed on hold for me for when I go back and they got our pieces fired very quickly! I loved it and my daughter and I will be making it...
