Chowder Factory — Attraction in Lowell

This place has been around for years and I am upset I didn’t find it sooner. Finding the place can be tough as it’s in the middle of an industrial park.

I walked in and was instantly overwhelmed with the soup options. Cindy saw my reaction was extremely helpful. She first asks do you want a creamy or broth based soup. Then goes onto discussing veggies / meat / seafood options. After our discussion, I bought the clam chowder, she crab soup, and the Hungarian mushroom soup. There are also soups that are frozen and are a bit cheaper than the fresh soups.

So far, I’ve only had the chance to try the clam chowder. It was creamy and chock full of clams!! I am very excited to try the other soups in this cold weather. I am looking forward to coming back!

Loving the soup here. When arriving you need to keep your eyes peeled because its very easy to miss it from the road whereas it's in an industrial area. However if you can indeed find it, you will be satisfied. They have all different varieties of soups and chowder. Hands down the best lentil soup I've ever had. I typically don't even like lentils but this soup is to DIE FOR, especially on a cold winter evening. I also recommend the haddock chowder and the broccoli and cheddar. The only thing i would suggest is to possibly invest in a hot pot to serve hot soup. I feel a lot of people may bat an eye against this place whereas your unable to get hot soup to-go. I think it would definitely improve business for this place where it's in a highly congested area with lots of businesses off...

My whole family shops here the best prices for a traditional home cooked meals ready at your fingertip. Just throw it in the oven! Their Mac n cheese is the best I’ve ever had. Spinach&Artichoke dip!! Chowder of course is amazing along with lobster bisque! I always try a different soup never disappointed! There are so many to choose from. Pot pies so yummy and Supporting a family business!!! They have so much more! Cane sugar sodas all different kinds! Oh ya and dessert don’t forget their cookies !
