I recently acquired an older painting that was not in perfect condition. Being new to the world of art I wanted to explore care and protection for this piece as I display it in my home. I reached out to the Lowell Gallery and asked a few questions. Jeff and the team were incredibly helpful in answering my inquiries and educating me on how to care for the painting even before I brought it in. After determining a potential path I brought the piece into the gallery. Upon seeing it in person they advised some potential work done by a conservator as well.
Jeff and the team reached out to the conservator, had them inspect and advise and provided all of the detail and recommendations for a couple of different paths. They were incredibly communicative and helpful throughout the whole process. In the end, we chose the path that made the most sense based on their expert guidance. I couldn't be happier with the results, the piece looks amazing and is now proudly displayed in our home.

Read moreI can't say enough wonderful things about this frame shop!! I spent almost a year cross-stitching a picture of Elsa from Disney's Frozen for my niece for Christmas. Well, not only did they do the job in two days, they did a LOVELY job - mounting, blue mat, silver frame with glass - and only charged $70 for everything!! I will definitely be bringing all my custom frame jobs to them in the future! They...
