Mountz Jewelers | Colonial Park/Harrisburg — Attraction in Lower Paxton Township

I came to Mountz for an engagement ring because of their impeccable reputation, and after finding a very beautiful setting on their website. I met Karin who showed me the setting. Karin was awesome and super knowledgeable about everything. I loved the setting and agreed to purchase it, and was surprised that they ordered me a brand new ring, and didn't just sell me the one off the display like the big box stores would do. We then looked at diamonds. Karin showed me all the different options and explained all the cuts and colors. She selected several beautiful diamonds for me to choose from and was very patient with me while I made my selection. I initially chose the same size stone that was in the sample ring. However a week later I decided to upgrade the size of the center diamond and returned to the store, where Karin picked out the most beautiful 1.2 carat diamond to fit in the setting. I told them I needed it done by the end of March. The ring was done one week into March. I am in awe of how beautiful this ring is. And I have never had a better experience making a large purchase. Mountz is absolutely the finest jeweler around. I am so happy I chose them. Karin was great and all the staff and managers treated me like a friend. The only negative I have to say is I think the engraving i had done on the ring looked rushed, it wasn't as nice as I would have hoped. The heart looked great, the lettering wasn't great. But it is extremely small and can only be seen with a loop, and it is legible, and says what I wanted it to say. So I think it works. This was my first purchase from Mountz, and I am extremely happy. I will never purchase jewelry anywhere else. I ended up buying two more gifts, an anniversary necklace and a birthday necklace. All the pieces are so beautiful. Thank you Karin for all your help. And thank you for helping me create the most beautiful engagement ring ever. I know she'll say yes when she sees that 😉

Update: Karin contacted me about the engraving and asked me to bring it back in to make it right. I was not able to take the ring back in until the last minute, with only a week until I needed it. I told them I could live with it if they couldn't get it done in time, as they usually would have needed about two weeks for this type of work. But they wouldn't take no for an answer and insisted that they would priority rush it and have it back to me in time and it will be perfect. They had it back to me 3 days early, and the engraving is beautiful!! Super perfect. Karin is the best!! I will never purchase another piece of jewelry anywhere else. This has been the best purchasing experience I've ever had. Thank you Karin and the jewelers and everyone who helped during this process. You guys really go above and beyond for your customers. I heard about the Mountz Bridal Bash event in a radio ad and decided to make an appointment to look at wedding bands. Due to traffic around Hershey I was five minutes late and unfortunately I hadn't been given a name to ask for when I got there. I got one of the first appointments but the shop was already packed. A gentleman (one of the vendors, apparently) started to help me but then sort of drifted away. I felt a bit disappointed and actually started getting emotional. I know I was late but I did try to call five minutes before my appointment time (no one answered due to the amount of business in the store). Instead of just giving up and leaving I decided to make one last attempt. I saw a woman at a computer and asked if there was anyone who could help me, apologizing for my tardy arrival. This lady was Karin, and she absolutely turned my night around. She immediately came around the counter to help me, offering me a glass of wine or champagne. She sat me down at the wedding bands and listened to my story, looked at my engagement ring (and complimented it), and immediately focused on finding me exactly what I wanted. She REALLY listened, which to me was the most important part of the process. I felt as if I mattered, that I wasn't just another sale. I went in to fix my bracelet, and Victoria was so kind to attend to me. Her service was excellent. She even repaired my jewelry for free, and I found something else I liked.
