Absolutely the worst customer service that I’ve ever encountered in any game. Want to talk about the most unfriendly, unwelcoming people I’ve ever encountered, these people, especially that female manager or any of the assistant managers act like it’s the biggest inconvenience in the world to ask anything in regards to a game or anything in regards to sports cards or the grading system. It’s like when you walk in the store it’s like you bothered them, they consistently having their friends hang out in there they’re not attentive whatsoever to the customers and I’m a first time gamer last system I owned was Genesis and honestly I’ve gone to a lot of game stops it’s like one of my fun things to do when I see a new one, but these people are absolutely horrendous. I have no idea how they can’t even be in charge of that store that girl with the glasses and the little chubby guy who claims is the assistant manager are seriously horrifying total bad experience every time I walk into that store, they are nasty, condescending cold, and every time you walk in that store it’s like you’re a burden corporate should be told I cringe every time I have to go in there however, it’s the closest store that fits my needs in regards to sports greeting cards and buying games. Read moreBE VERY CAREFUL when buying anything at this location. They will try to sneak items you don’t ask for such as warranties, pro memberships and so on. I stopped by this location twice today, April 27, 2024. The first time, I saw the woman who said she’s in charge of the store absolutely kill someone’s excitement for their purchase by throwing in terms about warranties and how quickly the items go bad. Then pushed a pro membership he wasn’t asking for even after he said he didn’t want it because his points usually expire before he could ever use them and she kept telling him about what it does to the price and they went back and forth for so long she basically beat the guy into submission as he gave up and said “you know what just charge me for whatever you think, I just need this item”. She seems like a very company person. The ones that are told they have to push customers for all the extras. The second time I went to this location today, the guy who grabbed the game that I needed, proceeded to give me a total that included a warranty that I did not ask for. Read moreThis store used to be great and was my go to a few years ago. The new workers sold my sister in law a defective game so I went to return it for her since I tested it on their system and it didn't work. I believe Dylan had sold it to her. When she was sold the game they tried to upsell the warranty and said that they couldn't do anything about it if it didn't work. There is a 7 day return policy for pre owned games so when she told me about this I was confused. When I went for the return I mentioned the game didn't work and that it was probably an issue on the disc, a weird issue on the corner of the disc. The guy helping me with the return acknowledged saying yes that's the issue (rather rude tone). So it seems he sold her the game knowing it was defective in the first place. When I went to give her number for the return, the guy started to say that the person would need to be there for the return. This is not GameStop's return policy per their website. My wife ended up saying she's the one who bought it using her sisters account and he let up. Not sure what's wrong with this store and their customer service. What a fall from grace.
