McGillivray Park — Attraction in Madison Heights

This is a small, quiet park. I often drive by and don't see many, if any kids playing on it. There is a large field, a basketball court and a playground. We have visited a couple of times with our toddler and we were the only ones, which can be nice. This has a designated, rocky parking lot, a porta potty and a Little Free Library!

It is not the most interesting park, but there is lots of room for outdoor sports. It has a baseball field, basketball/tennis court, a small playground, a tiny library (it is just a box filled with books), a couple picnic tables, and a parking lot. I have seen people take their dogs there, but they let their dogs go on the picnic tables so the tables are not sanitary. I don't own a dog so I don't know a dog owners opinion...

Small little park that sit right in front of twelve mile rd and sherry. Its perfect to bring your kids here. They have a basketball court, playground, swings for toddlers and infants, and a small softball field. Reminds me of my childhood days. Whats also nice is that this park have a little book stand box if you want to read while your kids...
