Visited 10.22.2018 with my girls, age 8 and 10. Great stop! and accessible to AFCH/UW Hospitals and S Park Street.
Beautiful day outside and we absorbed it all! Multiple options for children to run the length of the multiple city blocks and wide enough to be open and safe. Surrounded by residential homes.
Girls loved this area! Many options for busy minds to include the play equipment (the balancing bench great fun!), basketball and volleyball court in addition to corner benches and open area to kick a ball. What more could you ask for at a city park with a beautiful setting, some shade and lots of sunlight!

There is a backstop and small baseball/softball area, plenty of green space, a playground for the little ones, a basketball court, and a sand volleyball court with an above average quality net. On warm days, one can always hear people playing baskbetball and volleyball.
There are brick ledges with brick floors on two corners of the park which are perfect for adding extra seating or places to put food and other items while tailgating. The whole park is filled with tailgaters prior to Badger Football games.
