Dublin Park — Attraction in Madison

DO NOT RESERVE AN INDOOR POOL PARTY HERE. $175 wasted & so embarrassed! I reserved a party here 17days ago from 1pm-4pm. I called ahead on the way (30 min before) just to make sure they had my requested tables set up & they hadn't even started and seemed confused. Come to find out they had given the room I reserved to someone else, and I had to get a completely different room, which made the games I brought non playable because this new room had.glass cabnets..I reserved the room with the kitchen.. which they brought to my attention that was out of order anyways.. so we had to inform our guest of the room change and eat immediately so the ice-cream didnt melt and I had to prepare all the other foods on the other tables.There was construction going on close to the doorway making it harder for us to get our items In And out. They put out way more tables and chairs than I requested so the first portion of my time was spent putting up those tables and chairs so we could have room for our games. So I was rushed to prepare our room and had to rush our guest out to meet their deadline or be charged a $50 late fee. The floor had spill stains on them and the fabric of the chairs were embarrassingly stained! There was NOT A WORD SPOKEN TO ME ABOUT THIS INCONVENIENCE FROM THE STAFF! Dublin Park was a great walking experience as I would love to have a walking partner to experience this walking path with as it was a beautiful day today and will be an even better day tomorrow I hear with the cold front moving in for a couple days to lower the heat outside for a more enjoyable day outside. With that said Madison offers a good choice of walking paths here in town I am planning on going to and explore as like said earlier it be better to get to experience it with a friend and have a friendly walk as well. But in all our it was enjoyable and I definitely would and will express that you should try it out and have a walk either with family or friends as well as I see that there is a swimming pool in the area and you should also choose to have a dip with all these hot days we have been having . I can't believe you guys tore down the coolest kid castle ever to turn it into a plastic waste land. I don't know who designed this new renovation but they most not have been from the south, or at least haven't experienced summers in the south. NEWS FLASH, IT GETS FRIGGIN HOT HERE!! Walking on all that plastic and having all the structures made of metal feels like your playing in an oven! I understand that you've recently added "shading" but that shading is just NOT cutting it. Pull up the AstroTurf and put down something organic to absorb that heat and not reflect it, and plant a couple of trees around the place. That would make your park 100% more enjoyable. But as it stands sadly, we will not be able to go back to Dublin anymore. It's just not safe during the summers.
