A solid option for tacos in an area of Madison with slightly less dense traffic -- not bad!
This truck is a dark orange color and parks in a corner of a gas station, though I can't remember the specific brand of gas station as that didn't stand out to me much.
I had sopes with chicken for lunch, while boyfriend opted for chicken tacos. I've heard that you can get two meats on your taco orders, but that wasn't offered to us and I'm too shy to ask, haha. So chicken it was.
Food was out fairly quickly, despite there being two orders ahead of mine. I would say that it was good, but not remarkable. Bear in mind that I don't typically eat much Mexican food, though, so my tastes are far from expert.
That being said, I don't see this food as being too different in taste, ingredients, or presentation than the food from the popular El Cazador trucks and restaurants that are more populous in the Huntsville area. Perhaps the sopes from this place went a little bit heavier on the toppings -- more lettuce, more beans, and a bit more chicken. I would also say that the salsas are a bit hotter here. Ultimately, however, I prefer El Cazador. I like the seasoning they use on the chicken a little bit more, but mostly I feel like the masa rounds from El Cazador have crispier edges and softer insides, which I personally prefer. Boyfriend said his tacos were good.

I ordered the birria tacos & chicken quesadilla. The food came out surprisingly quick ā 2 minutes after I placed my order.
I was excited for my food, as I have never had a disappointing experience with taco trucks! I got home, opened it and could not even believe my eyes. How was this Birria taco at all? Whereās the cheese? Whereās the soup? Alright. No doubt, these tacos are about to be whack but at least the quesadilla has to be good! Wrong.
It would have felt better to freely give my money away to bless someone than to spend my money on this. I still cannot believe how disappointing this food was. My 6 year old son loves taco trucks & had asked to pick some up for his birthday. We were right next to this one that we had never tried before. I had high hopes. You have to use the pickled vegetables on the food for it to be edibleā¦. I hate to say it but save your money and go to...

2020 update This place is still awesome, and super cheap. The food is amazing and authentic. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the location is pretty good too. It does move sometimes, but usually you can count on it being here (Hughes and Madison Pike) ...
