Haven't thought about eating at Burger King in a while so I stopped at a Burger King and after waiting several minutes was informed there would be no burger sales due to an equipment issue. So we went to the Burger King just a few miles down the road in a much more affluent area with a lot of ritzy neighborhoods thinking should be a good experience! I had just bought groceries so I had some things in a cool bag but didn't anticipate any prolonged delays. The only word I can use to describe my experience is horrific in all categories. Three was a line no big deal but we were trapped so patience is the word. I had no idea that it would take 30 minutes just to get to the order menu I was asked to wait and so we did. 10 to 15 minutes later the gentleman came back on and apologized. He caught me just seconds before I was ready to pull off and go somewhere else. Lord knows I wish that I had gone ahead and left another 15 minutes so we went to the window and the scene was chaotic inside a young manager in his twenties beet red on a cell phone while taking orders and ringing them up he apologized again and explained that there was just two people in the back cooking and he was the only one running the entire front of the store and I felt really bad for him! He filled our drinks and was in such a hurry that he ended up sloshing me with sweet tea and was profusely apologetic but I told him it's okay! Another 5 minutes cleaning the mess and waiting we're told to pull up and he would bring the order out! 10 minutes goes by no sign of the food when a gentleman not the one at the window who claimed to be the manager a different came out and literally started kicking the hell out of the bushes in front of the business and was clenching his fists in a tantrum and he made eye contact with me and he looked like he wanted to kill someone! That gentleman eventually stomped off cross the boulevard and walked off into the horizon I saw him a half an hour later walking somewhere! Another 10 minutes goes by still no sign of food and I've already paid 27.00 for two hamburger combos! Finally enough is enough cars and trucks are passing us as they abandon the line I decided to go inside the store and what I saw set me back absolute pandemonium and chaos! Walk-ins were stacked up everywhere waiting for their orders and this is what I saw! A young lady in the back handling all the orders and this poor young manager on the phone to probably the other begging for help! I saw him handing food with bars hands after changing out the garbage, he was patting down fries and onion rings with his bare hands! After another 10 minutes he finally realized that I had been waiting outside for week over a ham an hour! He finished my order and handed me the bag and apologized! I got back in my vehicle and asked my brother to check the order he saw to burgers and two onion rings! I was content that we were good to go! I ordered the bacon king and my brother ordered the double Whopper both with onion rings! Since I had already been over an hour we were racing home because of the Frozen groceries in the back! I feel like I have been through some kind of trauma the stress level as I started to eat my hamburger my mouth felt like it was set on fire my burger had jalapenos and banana peppers and a bunch of other stuff that does not come on a bacon King in fact the only thing that wasn't on this thing that I was eating was bacon and my brother had a double Whopper loaded with bacon! My mouth and my throat don't do well with jalapenos I had some real problems and ended up having to just drink there are no jalapenos or banana peppers on a bacon King! There is no bacon on a double Whopper ordered as it comes! Burger King better count their blessings that I didn't end up add an ER for an allergic reaction! So to sum it up I waited well over an hour to pay almost $30 for two fast food lunches that were handled in the most unsafe manner and then to add insult to injury they were not even right! I'm 60 this tops as...
Read moreI would give ZERO stars if i could... the absolute worst i have ever had in my life. Without exaggerating i waited over 2 hours at the Birth Parkway location for food for my nephew, his friend, myself and a friend of mine. If it weren't due then i would have left... i had a gift card that paid for most of my food, well i needed a few more dollars and this app TOOK ASK MY MONEY OFF MY CARD which was only $19 but it's all the money i had... The gift card was for $15 I need it for more dollars the app told me that it was going to take and load a $5 gift card add to my app so I can pay for the rest of my food... Well guess what it took it all so I had no choice but you sit here and wait for over 2 hours on my food the manager was upfront cussing, she was sweet but very unprofessional. When I ordered my food on the app I ordered it for dine-in well they lock the doors because some people walked out and quit which is understandable... But there is no reason I should have waited over two hours for two sandwiches, 24 chicken nuggets, I fry and 4 drinks... So I made a complaint I got a refund decided to give them another try but I went to a different location on Hughes Road this lady lock the door on me because there was only two people working in the store which is not my fault or any customers bought they should have disabled the app so that you could not go into pick it up so instead of waiting in the Drive-Thru line I pull up to the window and she start yelling at me telling me I cannot cut in front of cars well if I didn't my food would have been cold so she slammed the window on me I started taking orders from drive-thru and taking their money and handing them their food in the window behind me... Burger King was my first job I work there for 5 years I was a manager and I just could not believe the way I was treated and how unprofessional this place was both locations that scarred me for life I never want to eat Burger...
Read moreWas in the drivethru at this restaurant, sitting at the speaker. They asked for my order and I said, “I have a mobile order”. Dead silence. I ask, “are you there” several times, no response. Then I hear someone ask again if they can help me and I repeat, “I have a mobile order”. In the meantime, the car behind me just says they dont know you are there and passes me and goes to the window. The speaker person says may I help you again and I tell them I have a mobile order and they tell me to come to the second window. When I drive around, there sits the car that passed me, The Maids, with 3 people in it and they are each giving a separate order while I wait behind them. I go up to their window and say, you knew I was waiting on them to respond again, why did you pass me. They rolled their window up. When they finally moved on, I asked the people at the drive thru window why they ignored me and they said they thought I left. I asked them how could they think that when they were asking me what I wanted and I was replying and then asking are you there. They had no answer because there was not a truthful one. Of course, because it was a mobile order, it had been sitting there getting cold while the three not ladies were ordering separately and me waiting behind them. If I hadnt already paid in the app, I would have left. Never again! Despicable service per Burger King and I will tell everyone I know about the rude women that work for The Maids. BTW: Just to show how truly slow this drive thru is: not another one of the 8+ cars behind us at the speaker pulled around the bldg until I was leaving. WE ALL HAD TO WAIT except...
