I Nails & Spa Madison — Attraction in Madison

I walked in at 2pm on a Friday to see if they had an opening for a fill. The gentleman stated I could either make an appointment for later or wait. I asked how long was the wait and he replied 10 minutes, so I decided to wait. I could overhear him talking rudely to the lady who’s manicure he was finishing, but I minded my business and waited for my turn. When he was finished I sat down and he was very ruff- pulling my hands, twisting my fingers, huffing and puffing. He cut me on 4 different fingers, never once apologizing or going any gentler. When paying he asked how was everything and I said ‘ I mean you cut me multiple times’ his response was ‘ Well that happens sometimes’! I’ve been getting my nails done for over 15 years all around the county and this gentleman was the absolute worst! Customer service was horrible, technique horrible- if you didn’t want to ‘fit me in’ then you should have said that you couldn’t take me at that time, not huff and puff and rush your work resulting in...

Went in for a fill after the new management took over. Will NOT be returning. A man with tattoos was my tech..he was very rough with the drill, caused 3 of my fingers to bleed.

Nails were shaped poorly after filing, some crooked, and the shapes were perfect before I went in. I mentioned the crooked nails, he told me 'no, they are fine to me'

I told him again they were crooked, he grabbed my hand and flipped it around aggressively, repeating, 'no, they are good".

I decided then that I would go elsewhere right after this appointment and have them fixed. He wanted $55 for a fill. I said I didnt like my nails, they were awful, he said, "no beautiful!". Clearly he didnt care.

I gave up. Paid, no tip. He asked why, I repeated they were terrible. I left and went to another salon..who fixed them for FREE....they agreed, what this guy did was awful.

NEVER going back....

Friendly staff. 3 different people rotated doing my mani and pedi while I was sitting down getting a pedi. The feet were rushed and the hands were done by someone in training, the pictures show the final result. I didn’t leave a tip because my nails have never looked this rushed, chipped and bad. I think $65 for this service was enough, but I got some mean looks when I didn’t add a tip. I’m from another country where I see people work so hard doing nails and are perfectionists, so to know that mine today were sloppy, I don’t consider that worthy of a tip when the price was so high for amateur work. The staff was super friendly, nice and funny! So there aren’t any hard feelings. But I felt I needed to write a review as to why I didn’t tip because of the mean looks as...
