The smoothie was good, but it was pricier than I would have liked.
The smoothie came out to $17.99. In my opinion, a smoothie should be anywhere from $5-12 total. I ordered the OG smoothie which is $12 for strawberry, mango, pineapple, peach, orange, and protein powder. I added greens for another $5.
Even a 440z smoothie at Smoothie King only comes out to $11.79 and that might include strawberries, pineapple, protein powder, and some other enhancers with additional items being $0.99 each.
I wanted to give a new place a try and support local but I wasn’t expecting it to cost so much.
I also would have liked some more transparency on the menu. The menu didn’t state anywhere that Herbalife was going to be used for protein powder. There was another image that stated that the OG smoothie had a significant amount of protein but it didn’t say where that protein was coming from. The lady did mention she was going to add protein powder but I wish it would have been mentioned on...
Read moreGreat smoothies, kind staff, BUT why are y'all unnecessarily sealing over my 'healthy' smoothie with a plastic seal I now have to punch a straw through? This is supposed to be a health-focused business, and news about micro plastics in our foods, blood, etc is all over the place... And here y'all are unnecessarily sealing a drink I'm about to consume so I have to punch through it with a straw? And I can't peel it off. Stop with the plastic already. It's enough it's in a plastic cup, plastic straw, you don't need to seal something I'm literally about to drink with melted-on plastic. It's ridiculous. I didnt drink it. Get paper cups as an option while you're at it if this is supposed to be all about health.

Just because my Google isn’t updated, doesn’t mean I don’t live in the area.
Unfortunately I didn’t realize that this was an MLM (Herbalife) drink bar. Plus sides: the workers were very nice! Downsides: The drink wasn’t very good nor worth the price paid, especially for the risk of liver issues that Herbalife causes. For anyone curious, the National Library of Medicine has done case studies on it.
Drinks were pretty to look at, so I’ll...
