Lovely little farmers market on the near west side. You don't have to drive through traffic (although the construction on Monroe St. right now can be a pain) or worry about parking like you would if you were to go downtown. The selection is more limited, but there is still plenty to choose from: multiple produce vendors, honey, cheese, coffee, homemade soaps, flowers, pottery, jams, bread, meat, eggs, etc. A little bit of everything. My husband and I especially love Bryant Family Farm -- meat selection with common and not-so-common items, and a variety of eggs (but get there early if you want duck/goose/quail eggs, because they can sell out quickly).
You can be in and out immediately, or spend a little more time enjoying coffee and listening to the live music....
